WIN! I just send a letter to Warren Graff, the maker of Happy tree friends! :D:
"Okay, I have finally came up with a couple of questions...
1. Since Flippy was cured at the end of Double whammy, does that mean after he died, he stayed that way? Or will he come back, killing people like usual?
2. Is Truffles ever gonna be in an episode? (cause I saw him hiding behind a tree in "See you later, elevator"... I'm magical :3)
3. Have you ever considered making a love bite where Flippy and Flaky try to be together, but ends in a horrible disaster? (Flippy flips out, or Flaky's paranoia?)
4. Are you guys working on ALL of the Sonic games, or did you only help make "Sonic colors"?
Thanks! :D"

Mole, Nutty and Disco bear- Shake it
Even though these are my least favorite HTFs (Mole causes a lot of deaths :\, Nutty is just plain... crazed, and Disco bear is perverted :D), I found this appealing. >_<

Chapter 6: Pure torture
"Ohh..." She moaned in her head, regaining consciousness. "What the...?" There was a gag over her mouth, and she had been tied up with nylon rope. It was raining hard outside. Wiggling, she tried to break free, but failed. Peeping noises came into earshot. "No, anything but that!" Flaky thought, struggling to get up. She hopped to the door, hanging wide open, when something touched her chest. The strange force dragged her back, no matter how much she screamed and cried, it wouldn't stop. Someone cut the gag loose. "Okay, I wanna know what's going on." Evil told her, his voice low. Flaky ignored the knots in her throat and said "Why should I tell you anything?" "Maybe, if you're a good little girl, I'll spare your life." He replied. She rolled her eyes. Like she would ever believe anything he said! "You're wasting your time trying to get information out of me." She growled. "Oh, then what's this?" Evil held up the sketchbook. "W-where did you get that?!" "I did a little snooping while you were asleep, darling." He stuck his nose in the book. "Why, one of your drawings are of Flippy and Giggles, together as a couple? As if!" He turned the page, pretending to be interested. "Aw, isn't that adorable? Everybody's happy, you're Flippy's girlfriend, what could possibly go wrong?" He stuck the angry chick sketch in her face. "That's what!" Evil took the first page and pulled. "What are you doing?! That could ruin everything!" Flaky warned, but he payed no attention and ripped the picture out, anyways. The porcupine's eyes scanned the room looking for something to fight with... Flippy's bowie knife laid right in front of her. "That must of been what Evil used to cut the gag!" She thought, grabbing onto it with her toes. Evil yanked out another page, and then another... When he touched the last paper, Flaky let out a battle cry and with her foot, she stabbed Evil in the crotch. "I'M GONNA SLAUGHTER YOU, FLAKY!" He screeched, trying to pull the knife out. At full speed, she hopped over, knelt down and grabbed the sketchbook with her mouth, then went for the escape. Only problem, though, her path was blocked by numerous blood-thirsty baby chickens. "Ahhh!" She toppled over, te chicks gathering around her. The angrily pecked at her face, nimbled on her fingers and began tearing out her organs. "I'm not going to make it." She knew, when the birds chewed off the rope around her. "Hey, I'm free!" Flaky shouted, pulling away from the army of chicks and dashing towards the exit. "No!" Evil snuck up from behind and slashed her in the breasts. "Ouch!" She shrieked, crossing her arms over her wound. "It hurts!" Flaky whimpered. "It will all be over in a few seconds." Evil chuckled, leading the group of chicks over to her. "The sketchbook!" She had dropped it while she was being pecked. She had to retrieve it before it was too late! Flaky fought through, and when she faced Evil, she smacked him so hard in the jaw, one of her finger bones snapped off. She looked around. No pencils in sight. Quickly, she opened the book up and used the blood from her worn-down fingers to draw a picture of herself, a flower and the sun shining down on her. "Get her!" Evil commanded. The chicks caught up with Flaky and started tearing her limb from limb. They ripped her eyeballs right out of their sockets. And soon enough, only her arm was left. Shakily, it closed the sketchbook up.
~~~
"Wah!" She woke up on a couch, sweat soaking her fur. Flippy poked his head through the basement doorway. "I see you're awake," He told her, grinning. "All of that was... just a dream?" She asked. "I don't know what you're talking about, but look!" He held up a familiar old sketchbook. "I got it this morning! Lucky, huh?" Flippy replied. "Yeah, lucky..."
Chapter 5: Growing weak
He called her up while she was driving home. "So... how did it go? Does Giggles want to get back together with me?" Cuddles said, hopeful. "They... they kicked me out of their house." She told him. "Oh, well... you tried." He took a deep breath and sighed. "Thanks for coming over earlier. I guess you can't ever become so attached to someone...or else, they'll just leave you behind in the dust." Flaky's eyes burned with tears. "I know that feeling..."
~~~
She pressed down on the breaks, then gaped at her damaged house. Windows were shattered, shards of glass pointing upwards. Her garage door had been vandalized with spray-painted curse words all over it. The plants that she had been working so hard to grow had been cut down or stomped all over. She scowled. "They did this..."
~~~
Flaky swept up the bits of glass, washed off her garage door with a sponge (Not Spongebob :|) and a bucket of water, and planted some new seeds in the fresh soil. She cleaned her paws in the sink. She walked into her bedroom, locking the door. Flaky threw herself onto the squeaky bed and sobbed quietly. There was a loud ringing in her ears. "I'm sorry... I'm so, so sorry!" She bawled. She needed to let her depression out somehow... Flaky took out a knife, and began stabbing her hand over and over again. "Why... why was I cursed with this evil sketchbook?!" She shouted up at the ceiling. "Please, just let this day be over!"
~~~
She felt something tickle in her sleep. "H ha, stop that." She giggles, opening her eyes to see Flippy next to her, wrapping some kind of gauze around her bloody wrist. "Flippy? What the heck are you doing?!" She asked, sitting up in bed. "I'm sorry about what happened yesterday... I really don't know what came over me! Can we... go out again? Please???" He begged. "Oh... alright." Flaky mumbled in response. "Here's some water, sweetie. It'll make you feel a whole lot better." "Okay." She held the glass in her hand and put it to her mouth, but then pushed it away when she noticed the dark skies out the window. She heard faint screaming. "Why is the sky like that?" Flaky asked him. He turned away. "I suppose it will rain today..." He answered. Suddenly, she remembered another question. "How did you get in here?" "Your door was unlocked, dear. Now you should really drink that water... to b-build up your energy." He stammered. "If you're positive..." Flaky chugged down the liquid. That's when the world around her started spinning. "What's going on?!" She squealed, tossing and turning, and feeling quite dizzy. "You... you tricked me! You put some kind of drug in my drink!" She accused him. "Maybe so, but hey babe, it's not like I shoved it down your throat. Besides, when you wake up, you'll be in a MUCH better place." And with that, Flaky passed out.

Chapter 4: A terrible mistake
The phone rand several times before Flaky decided to pick it up. The person on the other line was sniffling. "Who is this?" She asked. "S-sorry to disturb you and all, Flaky... c-could you come over to my house and help me get rid of a few things?" It was Cuddles. By the way he talked, she knew that he was upset. "What are you getting rid of?" He started to sob harder. "All of my pictures of... G-giggles." He answered shakily. "What?! Why?" Flaky said. "She broke up with me last night..."
~~~
She clenched her fists as she entered the home. "That... that little-" She stopped herself, just in case it would make Cuddles cry even more. He gave her a trash bag. "Take down all the things that remind me of... her, please." He choked. Flaky shrugged and tore down a Giggles poster and crumpled it up in her hand... She wished that it was the real Giggles' face. "She... dumped you for Flippy, right?" Flaky sighed, dragging the trash bag over to the other side of the room. "Shouldn't you know? Didn't Flippy brake up with you, too?" She paused to think for a moment. There was a new text message on her cellphone, but she had forgotten about it after Cuddles called. "He might have... I didn't check my messages before I left." She told him. Cuddles buried his face in a pillow. "I'll never love again." He said, his words muffled by the pillow. "I'm sad about loosing the one I love too, but that doesn't mean that I should give up!" For the first time ever, Flaky spoke with courage in her voice. "I'm gonna march over there and give those two a piece of my mind!" She shouted, handing the bag back to Cuddles and stomping back to her van. "Good luck, Flaky." He called, picking up another tissue and dabbing his heart-shaped nose with it.
~~~
She barred her teeth. "You can do this, Flaky. Show those back stabbers that you're not afraid." She peeked through a window. Suddenly, she heard laughter. "How nice... the devil came into town and stole Flippy away from me." Flaky thought, quickly twisting the doorknob. And there, was the most horrible sight that she'd ever seen before... Flippy and Giggles, in each other's arms, making out to an extreme level. Her heart ached. "No... this can't be true! It's all a lie!" But it was right there before her eyes. Her left eye twitched. Her lip trembled. She felt... betrayed. Giggles was the first to notice her and pulled away from Flippy. "Who invited the retarded little porcupine here to play, huh?" She sneered, with a nasty look in her eyes. "I didn't. I sent her a text message saying that we were through, but I guess that she's so stupid, she doesn't understand." Flippy taunted. Flaky couldn't believe what she was hearing... those were two of her best friends talking! They would never treat her like that! But then again... this was her nightmare... "I'm not dumb!" She yelled, taking a step forward. "Why the heck did you even go out with her?" Giggles asked Flippy. "She's just a pathetic, worthless, re-" She was cut off when Flaky pounced on her. "GET THIS FREAK OFF OF ME!" Giggles squealed. Flaky tugged on her bow, sunk her nails into Giggles' face and shouted "I hate you!" A pair of paws yanked on Flaky's waist. "Get off of her!" Flipy screamed, pulling the porcupine away and shoving her outside. "...And stay out!" The door slammed. She could hear it being bolted. Flaky couldn't control her sadness, which at that moment, was spiraling out of control.

Chapter 3: Get out alive
*the next day*
"I... I don't know about this, Flippy." Flaky told him, tightening the purple-striped scarf around her neck. "Don't you remember the last time I tried to go skiing?" "Yeah, but back then, I wasn't with you. Now I am." He reassured her, pulling on some gloves. "A-are you sure this is... safe?" She asked. "You'll be fine, I promise." He squeezed her paw."Are you ready?" "I guess so, but- WAAAAH!" They started snowboarding down the steep hill, wind blowing in their faces. Flaky started screaming, and waved her arm in the air repeatedly. "It's okay!" Flippy exclaimed, but could barely be heard over the roar of breeze. "I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die! I'M GONNA DIE!" "Flaky, watch out!" He warned her. "Gahhh!" She shut her eyes, prepared to feel the pointy bristles of the tree before her, but it never came. Flaky opened one eye. "I didn't die???" She thought, trying to move from left to right to dodge the sharp rocks that laid ahead. "Now you got it!" Flippy cheered, already close to the bottom of the hill. "I'm actually doing it!" She beamed with pride. Flaky overcame one of her fears, with the help of Flippy, of course.
~~~
On the way home in the taxi, Flaky shivered. Flippy centered his attention on her. "Still cold from the snow?" He guessed. She nodded slowly in response. "Here, this will help." He stripped off one of his jackets and wrapped it around her body. "Thanks... that feels a lot better." Flaky informed him. They snuggled up close together. "You're welcome."
~~~
"Did you two hear about the house that burned down?" Pop asked, not noticing that Cub had wondered off to who knows where. Flippy and Flaky exchanged concerned expressions. "Oh no! Was anyone hurt?" Flaky said. "Well, everyone made it out alive. All except for poor Lumpy..." Pop answered. The couple couldn't help but smirk. From the corner of his eye, Flippy spotted Cub. A random shard of rock flew down from the sky and crushed the baby bear. He gasped. "Hey, what happened to Cub?" Flaky asked, rushing over to him. "Huh?!" Pop lifted the rock off of his son, who was perfectly fine and drooling. Not a scratch to be seen. "B-but... that's impossible! He was hit with that rock... how can Cub still be alive after something that brutal?" Flippy replied. "I heard stuff like this has been happening all day long. When people get into some kind of accident, they aren't killed!" Pop told him. Flaky's eyes grew wide. She finally understood...
~~~
"Oh man, this is bad!" She threw the sketchbook down and snatched an eraser from the bottom drawer of her desk. "What ever I draw in here, happens in real life the next day!" She said to herself, turning to the page with Flippy and Giggles on it. The eraser pressed down hard on the paper as Flaky moved it back and forth. Even though it was in pencil, the drawing wouldn't go away. "No! Why... won't...it...go...away?!" When the eraser was down to the end, she angrily tossed the book to the other side of the bedroom. "Crap... what have I done?" She squeaked.
Chapter 2: Love dazed
The pencil followed the movements of Flaky's hand. She bit her lip, wanting the result of the picture to come up great. Going over it one more time, Flaky seemed pretty satisfied. The drawing was of her, walking hand-in-hand with Flippy, hearts fluttering all around the pair. All of her friends were grouped around them, smiling. She flipped the page. The next sketch was of everyone in a group photo, nobody dying (except for Lumpy, who was caught on fire in the background). Starting fresh on another crisp paper, she thought for a moment. The directions suggested worst fears or nightmares... right? A sharp pain entered Flaky's chest, as she drew a picture of Giggles and Flippy, happily in love, while she and Cuddles are left alone, depressed. "Fears... my scariest fears..." She thought, moving on to the next picture. This one was terrible... it was of Evil hanging Flaky upside-down, while a mob of angry chicks tore her apart limb from limb. But it's just a simple drawing that can't do any harm, right? That's what Flaky thought... She decided not to draw on the last page (a lot of pages were already torn out), so she could save if for something special.
~~~
Daylight crept through her shades. She sat up and yawned. Then, a knocking sound came from the front of the house. She shuddered, letting all of the horrible outcomes of letting the stranger in flood her mind. Crawling on the stained rug all the way into the kitchen, she pulled out the first thing she touched in her drawer. A spoon? She shrugged. "It's good enough for me..."
~~~
Flaky cautiously looked through the peep hole in her door. It was... him. From what she could see, Flippy wasn't carrying any weapons or knives... She opened up for him, but still kept the silverware behind her back, just in case he tried to pull something. But, he didn't. "Hey, sweetie." He said in a soft tone. "Did he just call me 'sweetie'?" She wondered. "Hi..." "I brought you some coffee," He handed her a plastic cup. "Gee, thanks Flippy." She told him, even though she had never had a cup of coffee in her life. "May I come inside?" Flippy asked. Flaky stepped to the side. "Go right ahead." "Thank-you." He pecked her on the lips. Her pupils thinned. She opened her mouth to say "What was that for?", but didn't because she was too embarrassed for words.
~~~
She silently sipped the warm coffee, feeling it tingle in her throat. Flippy sat across from Flaky, looking at her lovingly. She felt her heart skip a beat. "He seems so... mindless." She thought. "Why is he acting like this? It's not a bad thing, but... it's pretty uncomfortable for me." "You look beautiful today." He complimented. Beautiful? She had just gotten up. Her quills were all mangled up. And he thought she looked BEAUTIFUL? "Uh... you too?" Flaky stammered. Taking her last sip of coffee, she felt incredibly jittery. "Hey, doyouwannagethighwithme? WecanhavesexunderanumbrellaHA! Doesn'tthatsoundlikefun?" She paused to point out the window. "Heylookatalloftheprettycolors! Thatsquirrelisanorangebittingamonkey!" Flippy laughed in response. "Next time, remind me to get you decaf."

After Flaky had returned to normal, she and Flippy went out to the park together. They ran into Nutty, who was hysterically laughing, like usual. "Ha ha hi Flaky! You ha want a piece of candy ha ha?" He asked, holding out a Tootsie Roll in him palm. Flippy shot Nutty a look that made it seem like her wanted to slice him up, then stuff his remains into a pinata, but he did nothing. "Um... no thanks. I'm saving up my appetite for lunch." She responded. "Ha ha suit yourself." He popped the candy into his mouth and chewed, going away. Flaky could hear a low growling sound coming fro Flippy, but again, he didn't speak.
~~~
They waited in line to buy food from the hot dog stand. Toothy stood behind them, and started to giggle. "Flaky's got a boyfriend!" He sang. Flaky hung her head, blushing. Flippy noticed this, then turned to Toothy with glowing yellow eyes. He grabbed Toothy's arm and twisted it backwards. "Eeek!" Toothy yelped out of pain. "Apologize, NOW." Flippy hissed. "For what? What did I do???" "I said, NOW!" He bent it even further. "Alright! I'm sorry for teasing you, Flaky!" Toothy squawked. Flippy let go, then Toothy scurried off to safety. "Wow..." Flaky thought.
~~~
Flippy, Flaky, Giggles and Cuddles sat on a long wooden bench, eating their hot dogs. "It's about time that you two got together." Cuddles said. "We always knew that you guys would make a perfect couple," Giggles added. "Yup, we are perfect for each other, aren't we?" Flippy scooted closer to Flaky, putting his arm around her. "Yes... yes we are." Flaky told him.
The pencil followed the movements of Flaky's hand. She bit her lip, wanting the result of the picture to come up great. Going over it one more time, Flaky seemed pretty satisfied. The drawing was of her, walking hand-in-hand with Flippy, hearts fluttering all around the pair. All of her friends were grouped around them, smiling. She flipped the page. The next sketch was of everyone in a group photo, nobody dying (except for Lumpy, who was caught on fire in the background). Starting fresh on another crisp paper, she thought for a moment. The directions suggested worst fears or nightmares... right? A sharp pain entered Flaky's chest, as she drew a picture of Giggles and Flippy, happily in love, while she and Cuddles are left alone, depressed. "Fears... my scariest fears..." She thought, moving on to the next picture. This one was terrible... it was of Evil hanging Flaky upside-down, while a mob of angry chicks tore her apart limb from limb. But it's just a simple drawing that can't do any harm, right? That's what Flaky thought... She decided not to draw on the last page (a lot of pages were already torn out), so she could save if for something special.
~~~
Daylight crept through her shades. She sat up and yawned. Then, a knocking sound came from the front of the house. She shuddered, letting all of the horrible outcomes of letting the stranger in flood her mind. Crawling on the stained rug all the way into the kitchen, she pulled out the first thing she touched in her drawer. A spoon? She shrugged. "It's good enough for me..."
~~~
Flaky cautiously looked through the peep hole in her door. It was... him. From what she could see, Flippy wasn't carrying any weapons or knives... She opened up for him, but still kept the silverware behind her back, just in case he tried to pull something. But, he didn't. "Hey, sweetie." He said in a soft tone. "Did he just call me 'sweetie'?" She wondered. "Hi..." "I brought you some coffee," He handed her a plastic cup. "Gee, thanks Flippy." She told him, even though she had never had a cup of coffee in her life. "May I come inside?" Flippy asked. Flaky stepped to the side. "Go right ahead." "Thank-you." He pecked her on the lips. Her pupils thinned. She opened her mouth to say "What was that for?", but didn't because she was too embarrassed for words.
~~~
She silently sipped the warm coffee, feeling it tingle in her throat. Flippy sat across from Flaky, looking at her lovingly. She felt her heart skip a beat. "He seems so... mindless." She thought. "Why is he acting like this? It's not a bad thing, but... it's pretty uncomfortable for me." "You look beautiful today." He complimented. Beautiful? She had just gotten up. Her quills were all mangled up. And he thought she looked BEAUTIFUL? "Uh... you too?" Flaky stammered. Taking her last sip of coffee, she felt incredibly jittery. "Hey, doyouwannagethighwithme? WecanhavesexunderanumbrellaHA! Doesn'tthatsoundlikefun?" She paused to point out the window. "Heylookatalloftheprettycolors! Thatsquirrelisanorangebittingamonkey!" Flippy laughed in response. "Next time, remind me to get you decaf."
Sketches of Reality ch 1
Chapter 1:
When it all began...
She couldn't hear anything over the sound of her own panting. It all felt like a horror movie bursting into real life. It was frightening; not knowing what t expect, not aware of the creatures that were lurking about. Being tied up, gagged, close to be slaughtered... it was such an awful experience! Her life had gone downhill ever since that deadly package had arrived in the mail...
~~~
The alarm buzzed in her ears. She groaned, blindly searching for the off button. "Another day," she thought, "another attempt to avoid dying."
~~~
She hummed some tunes in the shower, too shy to actually sing the words to the song aloud. She slathered a squirt of creamy shampoo into her quills, and tilted her head back for some more water.
~~~
Dressed in a white silk shirt, she headed out the door. The sun blazed down on her, which brought discomfort. "I bet someone's gonna get caught on fire," she predicted, her feet burning with every step down the driveway. Whistling echoed down the street. A familiar tall moose in a mail man uniform strode up to Flaky. She sighed. "Hi, Lumpy." She greeted him, with a dull tone lingering in her voice. "Hiya, I gots a package for ya!" He pulled out a small cardboard box out of his sack, handing it to the timid girl. She eyed it very carefully. Nobody ever sends her packages. Even so, her birthday had been last August. She stared at the white label at the top corner. The "From" column was scratched out with marker. "Th-thank you." Flaky croaked, then raced back into her house.
~~~
Shakily, she used a silver knife to rip the box open. She peered in, curious of the contents inside. An object-a book?-was wrapped up in light peach tissue paper. Unfolding, it revealed to be a diary of some sort. She ran her paw down the dusty cover. How old was this? And why was it send, of all people, to Flaky? She opened it up. What caught her eye was the writing in ink inside of the front cover; "Let your imagination roam free! By using the arts, you can express your greatest desires, fears, and emotions in this sketchbook. But be warned, all is not as it appears." The message didn't necessarily get through her head right away, but she still got the part where it said that she could draw inside of the book. "I'm not the 'artist' type..." she decided, storing the sketchbook under one of her soft feather pillows.
~~~
The tiny plastic ball went back and forth for minutes. The paddles slapped it at sonic speed. With one more flick of the wrist, Flaky whacked the ping-pong ball, so that it whizzed past Cuddles. He grinned at her. "You play a good game." He said. Turning to Flippy, who had been watching the game the whole time, Cuddles asked "You wanna play a game against Flaky?" He shrugged. "Nah... I'd probably loose, considering how great she is at it." The war veteran winked at her. Flaky's cheeks got a shade darker than usual. "Really? I mean, you fought in the W.A.R. and all..." Her voice trailed off. "Doesn't mean that I don't suck at sports." He answered. "Cuddles, Giggles is her!" Petunia hollered from the kitchen. He quickly looked at Flippy and Flaky. "Do I look okay?" He asked, stroking the yellow puff of fur at the top of his head. "Ah, just go make out with your girlfriend already." Flippy teased, with Flaky giggling nervously behind him on the couch. For a brief second, Cuddles stuck out his tongue at them, then trotted up the basement stairs, leaving the two all alone. Silence filled the room. "So... wanna go upstairs with the others?" Flippy suggested. "Good idea." Flaky leaned forward to get up, but he put a hand out. She smiled, then took it. "His paw... it feels so warm!" Her mind was screaming. "And HE offered to help me up! Does that mean... he likes me? Or was he just being polite?" She wondered, as she followed next to Flippy.
~~~
"Gaaaah!" Petunia squealed, seeing them hold hands. "You guys are actually touching each other? Think of all the germs!" Pulling out a can, she sprayed them down, making sure that their hands were clean. When the cloud of disinfectant spray faded away, Flaky overheard Flippy say through gritted teeth "Thanks a lot, Petunia..."
~~~
Flaky put her paw on the lamp, just about to turn it off, when she remembered the sketchbook. She took it out from under her pillow. "Greatest desire, huh?" Flaky muttered to herself, grabbing a pencil from the bed stand.

Opposites attract ch 13 *ending*
Chapter 13:
The final move
(Flippy's POV)
For one of the first moments in my life, I was terrified. My strawberry-red fur turned a peach shade. From the corner of my eye, a figure swooped from one side of the basement to the other. My chest began to throb, for my heart was racing so fast, I thought it would burst. Where could she possibly be hiding?
---
(Flaky's POV)
"Didn't I tell you I would come back?" That retched voice cooed. Sweat ran down my forehead. "Oh god! It's really happening!" I thought. "That's right. Now take the flashlight and rip out it's batteries." He commanded. In a flash, I snatched it, like he said, and tore out the power source. The room went pitch black. "Perfect!" Evil snickered. "But now, I can't see either." I said mentally. "Just wait for it. If I know Flippy, he'll try to make a run for it." He told me. Someone pushed the door open. I lurked behind the shadow of Flippy. I could hear him gasping for air, probably as scared as ever by now. He took down a lit torch from it's place on the wall. After stalking him for a few seconds, I could tell that he was trying to find a way to escape. "No!" Evil growled. "Don't let him leave! Attack, now!" I struggled to raise my arm up. I held my breath. My fist shot at him like a bullet. He toppled down, but still okay enough to keep his eyes open. He had such a horrified look in his eye, I screamed "Run Flippy!" Leaving the torch, he darted upstairs. "Fool! You let him get away! Go find him again, but this time, use a weapon." He told me in a hushed tone. Following his instructions, I smashed through a glass container and stole a silver ax.
---
(Flippy's POV)
So Evil was behind this, huh? I joined the dead corpse in the coffin, shut the door, hoping that my hiding place was good enough to avoid getting caught.
---
(Flaky's POV)
Onto the second floor, I heard nothing but the sound of my own breathing. "He's hiding." Evil informed her. "Go, now." My feet moved on their own. I sliced each armor display with my ax, knowing that if Flippy was hiding inside of one, we would surely get killed. In the background, there was a light "tap" sound. I looked around to see him, closing the door to the coffin, already having his gaze set for the stairs. "What are you waiting for?! Move it!" Evil yelled. Chasing after Flippy, i flung the ax at him, thinking that my aim was so bad, it wouldn't hit him and he wouldn't get hurt. I was wrong; it snapped his right leg in half like a twig. He struggled to get back up. "This might be your only chance, take it!" Evil told me. Picking up the ax again, I lunged at Flippy, who was helplessly trying to move. Just about to strike, something grabbed my ankle. "Sorry, Flaky." Flippy apologized, as he tackled me to the ground. I gripped my weapon loosely in my hands as we both tumbled down the steps, then landed on the creaky wooden floorboards. He hung onto the wall for support. I got up much more easily. I watched Flippy limp on one leg, back into the basement. "That idiot is only going to get himself cornered!" Evil snarled. I settled the ax into position, then followed Flippy.
---
(Flippy's POV)
"Think, Flippy, think!" I was injured more than Flaky was, trapped with her (who at this point, was trying to kill me)... the options seemed limited. I knew that she was right behind me, so I had to move quickly. About two feet away from the generator, I reached my arms out, only to have them both chopped off in a slash. I winced. I have only one leg left... great. I stared in horror as she lifted the ax up on last time. I had nothing else to do. No where to go. I jumped at Flaky and sunk my mouth into her arm. After my teeth went through her sleeve, the taste of blood flooded my mouth. She yelped, waving her arm back and forth, trying to shake me off. The ax slipped out of her hand and made a gigantic dent in the generator. Beams of light struck my face, and soon enough, I was out-cold.
---
I coughed whenever I inhaled the smoky air that lingered around the basement. I touched the back of my head. No quills! A warm feeling spread in my chest. I had missed my old body. I glanced at Flaky, who was awake, and still missing a few parts. I stumbled over to her. A smile made it's way onto her face. "So I'm me, and you're... you." She clarified. "Yup. Now, let's get you to a doctor, 'cause I'm pretty sure one would be useful right now." And that was that.
---
(Normal POV)
"...So that's the story I get, when I ask how you two became a couple?" Cuddles asked, smearing butter onto his roll. "Yeah, pretty much." Giggles rolled her eyes. "Like that actually happened!" She sneered. "Believe it or not, it was all true." Flippy said, winking at Flaky. She giggled. "I liiiiked the paart with Diiiisco beeear." Lammy commented, making the group glare at DB. He kept his face down during the entire story. "Aw, come on, DB! There's nothing to be ashamed of on Thanksgiving... unless, of course, you got kicked by a girl." Petunia chuckled. He looked up to scowl at her. Giggles turned to Flippy. "You really don't know what a period is?" He shook his head "no". She whispered in his ear, giving him the definition. Flippy scooted his plate away. "Alright, you people have ruined my appetite." Petunia sighed, then said to Flaky "You guys are so lucky to end up with each other! I wish that me and Handy would-"Her cell phone vibrated. She took the call. "Hello?" Petunia asked. The speaker chatted for a little bit, then hung up. She raised her head to the heavens, shouting "Thank-you!!!!" Flaky smirked. "Let me guess... Handy?" "Yes! He just asked me out on a date!" Petunia exclaimed. "How could he call you on the phone if he doesn't have....uh, never mind." Flaky looked at Flippy from across the table. "Could you pass the gravy, please?" "Sure!" The couple blushed when their paws touched. Everybody sang "Awwwwww!" DB stood up with a disgusted expression on his face. "That's it..." He said. "This is gross." When he left, Flippy rose his glass. "Cheers!" He said. "Cheers!" They all drank together, knowing that their friendship would last them eternity.

Opposites attract ch 12
Chapter 12: A misunderstanding
(Flaky's POV)
"Flippy, dinner is ready!" I sang, but didn't hear a following response. "F-flippy?" I called out again. I slid across the marble floor as I searched for him. "Where are you?" My lip trembled as I spoke. I pulled the sliding-glass door open, and found him laying in the glass, as calm as night. The stars in the sky had faded away. Flickering fireflies twirled around in the air. Cricket chirps clouded up in my ears. I backed away, not wanting to disturb him, but he stopped me. "Come on. There's nothing to be afraid of." I took my place next to him. "I've been having a lot of thoughts lately..." He told me. "About what?" "Us." He paused to sigh. My face dimmed. "What about us?" I asked him. "I don't see how there can be an... us... while we're like this." I looked at him like he was insane, because that was the way he was talking. "We can never be an us... like, ever?" My stomach was knotting up. "If we return back to normal then yeah, but... I can't figure out how, or when." I blinked back the tears. "I... I get it." I squeaked, getting up to leave. "...And what is that?" Flippy said. "We can't ever be anything more than we already are." I went back inside, closing the door softly, then used the dish towel to dry the tears that were sliding down my cheeks.
---
(Flippy's POV)
"We can't ever be more than we already are...?" I repeated mentally. What was that supposed to mean? ...I suddenly felt it all click. I slapped my forehead in frustration. "I... sounded like I didn't want to be a couple... with her..." Even though I worded it pretty well and that it was misunderstood by Flaky, I still was furious at myself for letting it happen. "Great.... another problem..."
---
(Flaky's POV)
"Look, you've got it all wrong-" "How can I get it wrong, when you said it so precisely, huh?!" I turned my back to him. "Please, listen to me..." "How come? I thought you didn't like me, because of-" "Flaky!" He screeched. "What???" We stood face to face, our heart-shaped noses only a few inches away from one another. "I love you." "Yeah, well I love all of my friends, too." I sputtered. Flippy put his hands on my shoulders and squeezed tightly. "Not that kind of love, Flaky! I meant the kind when one that shows compassionate for another person. That love." He explained in a quick breath. I froze, only to hear my heart beating in my ears. "......H....honestly?" His eyes twinkled with happiness. "No doubt about it." I leaned in for a kiss, but he put out his finger. "Hold on, I want to scrub out my mouth one more time." He told me. "How come?" "I probably still have some Disco Bear taste in it. "Gross, but true."
---
(Flippy's POV)
After the best seven seconds of my life, Flaky licked her lips, then smirked. "Were you wearing lip gloss?" She asked. "I thought that you wouldn't notice..."
---
I repeatedly stabbed my chicken with a silver fork, bored out of my mind. I gazed out the window and spotted a bushy-tailed squirrel scamper across some power lines. He took a nibble out of one, then sparks flew as it got electrocuted. I sprung out of my seat, exclaiming "That's it!"
---
The flashlight shook in Flaky's hand. "I... I don't like this place." She remarked, clinging to me. "It's okay, I'll protect yo-" I squealed as I tripped over a discarded book on the floor. She giggled. "Smooth, Flippy."
---
Paw in paw, we entered the basement. I let go of her hand and explored the room, guided by the light, which Flaky provided. "It feels like only yesterday, we were wondering around here on Halloween night, doesn't it, Flaky?" I asked. Silence. I turned around to see the flashlight rolling on the ground. Flaky had disappeared.

Chapter 11: Flippy's hat
(Flippy's POV)
I was sipping apple juice from a fancy-looking glass as I came back into the bedroom, and apparently, the girls were having an in depth conversation, huddled together and talking quietly. "I think that she is still having problems with her periods." Giggles whispered to the others, loud enough for me to make out. They both nodded in agreement. I gulped down some more juice. Periods? Like, at the end of sentences? I feel like I'm in Language arts or something... Girls talk about the most boring subjects.
---
(Flaky's POV)
I dozed off on my front porch, Flippy's beret tiled to one side of my head. I sat in an old rocking chair, squeaking as it swayed back and forth with the rhythm of the wind. "You're nothing," Evil said in my sleep. "Worthless, pathetic. You've had control for the past few weeks... it's my turn now!" He exclaimed. "Huh?!" Something flew off my head. I opened my eyes, only to watch Lifty and Shifty escape to their van that was parked near my house. "H-hey!" I yelled, waving my fist in the air. "Give that back!" It was no use. The twins hopped in and started up the car... with Flippy's army cap in their possession. "Need some help?" Evil asked, echoing inside my head. "As long as you steal the beret back." I told him. "Easy! It'll be like stabbing an old person." I didn't really get the comparison, but I let him take over, anyways.
---
(Normal POV)
Evil chuckled as he climbed onto the back of the van. He smirked. "This is more like it." Meanwhile, Shifty glared at his brother, steering the wheel at the same time. "I still say that penny is mine!" He barked, paying no attention to the road. "I saw it first!" Lifty hissed back. "But I picked it up before you did." Shifty argued. "Yeah? Well, you kno-" The car screeched to a stop. "Wha?" Both of them unbuckled their seat belts to go check out the front of the van. Shifty opened up the top, and peered inside. "I can't tell what's wrong." He said. "What? Let me see." Soon enough, both raccoons were leaning in. "I think that there's something wrong with the wires, or-" The top part slammed on them in an instant, making the two scream "Waaaaaah!" Blood sprinkled everywhere. Evil wiped off some oil from the top of his forehead , then snuck into the back. "There you are," He said, picking up his hat. Evil placed it back onto his head. "Hm... should I dump out the dead bodies?" He wondered, but eventually changed his mind. "Naaah..."
---
(Flippy's POV)
I could hear Giggles, Petunia Lammy snicker as I got back into my truck, belongings piled in the back. I noticed red stains all over my uniform, but decided that it was probably best to not ask. Flaky gave me a sly grin. "How was it?" She said. "Oh, just your typical old slumber party." I replied.

Chapter 10: The slumber party
(Flippy's POV)
I opened up the card and read aloud "You have been invited to Petunia's birthday party this Saturday, but don't be fooled, because this is a slumber party, too! The guests should bring a present and their sleeping bags to Petunia's house @ 8:00 P.M. or earlier." I looked up and glared at Flaky. "Nuh-uh. No way am I going to a sleep over with a bunch of girls." I snapped. She stuck her lip out. "Pleeeeease?" She asked, her pupils shining. "Nope! I went on that date for you, remember?" I said. "Oh, you mean the one that you completely messed up?!" Flaky told me. "Not my fault the guy made out with me..." I paused because of the chill that crawled up my spine. "Please! I'll never ask you for anything ever again!" She exclaimed. "Promise?" "Cross my heart." I frowned. "Then I'll do it."
---
It was Thursday night at Flaky's house. She had just cooked cheeseburgers for dinner and sat them on the tab;e. We both dug into our meal. "I'm having some trouble finding a present for Petunia." I said, then taking a bite out of my cheeseburger. "Then why don't you just get the girl some soap? She likes soap." She replied, her mouth stuffed with food. "So, what? I just put some soap in a box and give it to her as a gift?" I asked. Flaky swallowed another chunk of meat. "Why not?" "...sounds good to me." I said.
---
I sat in the front seat of the car while Flaky drove. She stomped on the breaks when we arrived at Petunia's home. "Good luck," She said, when I carried the gift box and sleeping bag out of my truck. Just before I closed the door, Flaky added "You'll need it."
---
Petunia answered the door. "Come on in!" She said, pulling me inside. I set my stuff down on a chair. That's when I met up with the other girls, Giggles and Lammy. "Let's play truth or dare!" Giggles said, while the others scurried off into a bedroom.
---
The walls were white. There wasn't a speck of dirt on the carpet, and the bed was made neatly. "I should of seen that coming..." I thought, sitting on the floor with the other girls. "I'll go first," Petunia said. "Hmm... Lammy! Truth or dare?" "Daaare." Lammy replied, through gritted teeth. "I dare you to... eat Mr. Pickles!" She told her. Lammy clutched her pickle in her hand harder. "Buuut, buut-" "Come one, Lammy!" Giggles cheered. The lamb opened up her mouth wide, and bit the head off of Mr. Pickles. "Soooory aboout that." I heard her whisper. "Ummm... Gigggles, truth or daaaare." Her pink ears perked up as soon as she heard her name called. "Truth." She answered. "Aaaare you a fan of Spleeeendid?" Lammy asked. "Well, he's cool and all, but he kills more people than he saves them." Giggles said, turning towards me. "Flaky, truth or dare?" I didn't want to risk it. "Truth!" "Who are you in love with?" I suddenly felt stupid for not picking dare. After I refused to say anything, Petunia giggled. "I bet that it's Flippy!" She exclaimed. The heat in my body began to rise. "Why would you think that?" I asked, my palms getting sweaty. "From what I've heard, you eat with him, go out on walks with him, and you guys even live in the same house together!" Petunia explained. I blushed. "We're very... close." was all I could say.
---
Petunia tore her first gift open from Lammy. It was a Justin Bieber CD. The girls squealed, while I almost choked on my slice of birthday cake. "Girls actually listen to that crap? ...Well, I hope their ears bleed." I thought. The next one was Giggles' present. She pulled out a brand new Barbie doll out from the colorful bag it was in. Petunia clapped her paws together out of joy. "Thanks!" She told Giggles. Finally, she got to mine, looking confused as the box was opened. The girls gathered around her, when she pulled out a bar of Dove soap. "...you got me soap?" Petunia asked me. I winced. "You'll never know when you need it..." I said nervously.

Chapter 9: Sideways sports
(Flaky's POV)
"Flaky? Flaky, where are you?" He asked, head bobbing from left to right. I found myself biting my lip as I was lurking around in the shadows. His back was completely turned on me. "...now!" Evil exclaimed. Sniffling one last breath, I whispered "I'm sorry, Flippy." Something deep inside of me burned as I attacked, him falling to the floor.
---
I let out a small yelp as I opened up my eyes. I saw the blurry red numbers on the alarm clock; 3:09. Flippy began to groan. "What happened?" He asked me directly. "I had a scary nightmare again..." I told my friend. He rolled over, looking at me with tired eyes. "I'm sure it's nothing. Go back to sleep, Flaky." Flippy mumbled. "Alright, you win..." I pushed my pillow over to his side of the bed and moved closer to him. He opened one eye. "What are you doing?" He said. I gave him a nervous grin. "The bed is very large, and it seemed lonely on my side. It would make me much more comfortable to be over here with you." I explained. At first, it didn't look to me like he was buying it, but then he said "It's okay with me, I guess." "Great!" I leaned my head against his (or my...?) fuzzy red chest and smiled. Soon enough, I heard his snarly breathing. "Do I really snore that loud?" I thought.
---
"...And that is why I have dandruff issues." I finished, beaming with pride over my story. Flippy stared at me. "That was... interesting." He concluded, looking off into the distance. I noticed how he was acting strangely. "Is everything okay?" I asked him. Flippy shrugged. "I've been thinking a lot lately." He responded. We crossed the street and went over near the local baseball field. "About what?" "Well, I-" "Hiya guys!" Cuddles yelled to us from over the fence. "Hey Flaky, wanna play? We need an extra player." I nibbled on my fingernails, hoping that he wasn't referring to baseball. But I knew for sure that he was... "Sure, what have I got to loose?" Flippy replied, going in through the metal-wired gate. "My whole sports reputation..." I sighed, following after him.
---
The red-and-white baseball flew in the air. I watched in terror as it was going towards... Flippy. He noticed at the last second and held the thick glove out, but it ended up smacking him in the jaw.
---
"Run to the next base!" Toothy instructed Flippy to do. He squinted out into the grass and called out "I don't see any military bases around here..." "No, I mean those dirty white shapes laid out on the ground. THOSE are bases." Toothy said. Flippy nodded, understanding what he meant, and raced to the next base.
---
He ran past the final base, screaming "Yeah! Touch down!" I, like the other members of his team, face-palmed.
---
"That was exhilarating!" Flippy told me, patting the dirt off his fur. "Now if only you hadn't done that to the pitcher..." I said. "I thought that was what you're supposed to do in baseball!" He argued in his defense. "More like Football..." I sneered. "Say what you want, but I know that I did great. Didn't you hear my team cheer after I left?" "I'm pretty sure that they were happy 'cause you were leaving." I responded. "Okay, so maybe I'm a little rusty on the sport..." He admitted. "Yeah, 'a little'." I said sarcastically. "Oooh ooh ooh!" Petunia rushed up from behind us and handed Flippy an envelope. "Hope to see you there!" She said, right before she dashed away. Flippy ripped it open and pulled out a card. It read "You're invited!" in big silvery letters at the top. He had his eyes glued to it. "This is just great..." He grumbled.

Chapter 8: Alive once again
(Flippy's POV)
"Flaky's dead?" I croaked. "You're Flaky." Toothy reminded me. "Right... well, what happened?" I asked. "We're not sure ourselves. People found him dead." Cuddles answered. I shuddered. Why in the world would she kill herself?! I dashed away in the direction of the hospital hoping that she healed by now.
---
Flaky had been still recovering, but she's still in pretty bad shape. At first, I was quiet when I entered the medical room, feeling sorry for her. But then I remembered what had happened... "What the heck is wrong with you, Flaky?" I asked. She started breathing slower. "I know you can hear what I'm saying. Answer me." "It's not my fault, alright?" Flaky whimpered, shutting her eyes. "Oh? Then who's fault is it?" I said. She hesitated to answer. "I have no idea... one moment, I was feeling guilty about looking through your journal, and the next moment, I loose feeling in my arms and legs... I think Evil had some kind of part in it." Flaky explained. I frowned, not completely believing her story, but I shrugged it off anyways. "You scared me nearly to death." I confessed, crossing my arms. "Really?" She asked. "Of course. I lo-... I mean, you're like my best friend." I said with a warm smile. "So... does that mean you forgive me?" Flaky smirked. "Sure." I told her.
---
"Flippy...?" Flaky asked me the next night. "Yeah?" "Do you ever think that we'll return back to normal again?" She said. I looked at her, even though the room was dark, and I couldn't see much. "I can't make any promises, Flaky." I replied, closing my eyes again. While I was drifting off into sleep, I could of sworn that I heard her say "Good-night, Flippy. I love you..."

Chapter 7: A committed suicide
(Flippy's POV)
I watched as the tiny birds fluttered about in the sky, chirping their little joyous tunes. Just sitting there, I felt lifeless... She knows about my crush on her now. How could I ever stand to be near her again??? I banged my head on the window. Why, I asked myself, must life be so unfair?
---
(Flaky's POV)
My vision blurred with tears. "Stop it!" I yelled. "Pick it up, Flaky..." Evil instructed. My hand scooted closer to the bowie knife. Soon, it was in my firm grasp. "Good girl." He told me. "Now, hold it up for me." The knife nearly slipped from my paw because of the sweat, but I had no choice but to do what he said. "Plunge it into your heart!" He commanded. "I can't!" I responded. "Do it NOW." Without any control what so ever, I stabbed myself in the chest, only to hear that wicked laughter ring in my ears; "Mwa ha ha ha ha!"
---
(Normal POV)
Soon enough, people started getting suspicious about the lack of activity coming from Flippy (Flaky). Some of his friends went to his log-shaped home to check on him, only to find Flaky in a pool of cold blood, as pale as a ghost. The word spread quickly about the fact that Flippy had committed suicide, but then again, it didn't surprise some people...

(Flippy's POV)
I spent most of my time by that window, just observing life in the works. One morning, the clouds weren't puffy and whit like usual. They were a dull gray color, and flat, blocking the view of the sun. The vehicles that went by tripled by the hour. In the middle of the street, Cuddles and Toothy were chatting nonstop. I figured that some fresh air would do me good anyways, I went outside and caught up with them. "Hey, guys." I greeted them. "What's with all the commotion?" Cuddles and Toothy exchanged puzzled expressions. "Didn't you hear?" Cuddles asked. "Hear about what?" "Flippy killed himself."

Chapter 6: Flippy's journal
(Flaky's POV)
I waited outside, excited to hear about how the date went. When he didn't return for a while, I began to feel worried. "Ha! He probably messed the whole thing up!" Evil laughed. "He would never do that. Or at least, not on purpose..." I said. A chilly gust of wind went by. I shook, my teeth chattering. "Maybe he didn't want to come home." Evil suggested. I stepped back inside. Maybe Evil was right...
---
I laid in his bed for a while. "Hey," He whispered. Annoyed, I starred at the ceiling. "What?" "Look in Flippy's bottom drawer to find something... interesting." I glanced at the dresser. It would be wrong to go through his stuff, but alas... it was so tempting. I opened up the drawer and spotted a leather-covered journal. I rested my paw on it. "Go ahead," Evil said. "You know you want to." I craved to open it... so I did. the pages were filled with neat handwriting. I flipped through and saw one word that was used on almost every page; Flaky. "She is such a wonderful girl," I read. "Sweet, kind, intelligent... I know she would never fall for a guy like me." I put down the book. "He likes me?" I wondered. "Of course he likes you, idiot!" Evil hissed. I tasted sour in my mouth. Here he was, waiting for me to go out with him, when I'm off dating another guy? "I... I didn't know he felt that way." I admitted. I heard the doorknob jingle. Quickly, I stuffed the journal under one of the bed sheets. Flippy came in, his fur ruffled up. There was something smeared at the corners of his mouth, but I just assumed that it was food. My attitude perked up. "So," I began. "How did it go?" Not answering, he rushed into the bathroom. I started to hear gargling noises. "I'm guessing that it didn't go well." I said. He walked out moments later. I gulped. "How bad was it?" I asked. "Well, he kissed me on the lips, so I kicked him in... an area... and then puked out my diner. Any more questions?" Flippy responded. I didn't say anything else. I just fell back onto the bed. He joined me. "Don't worry," He told me. "He's not right for you, anyways." Shifting around, Flippy patted the bed. "It feels like there's something under here," He commented, pulling off the sheet. He looked at the journal with wide eyes, then at me. "Flippy, I can explain..." I said, but didn't continue. "You actually looked through my deeply personal stuff?" He asked. "Well, yes... but-" "But what?" Flippy turned away, trudged out the door and slammed it shut. My throat was dry. I just messed up everything that Flippy and I had together...

Chapter 5: An evening with Disco Bear
(Flippy's POV)
"What?" I asked coldly. "Why in a million years would I go out with you???" He folded his arms. "Because I invited you, and you said yes." I was stricken silent. Flaky said YES?! DB tilted his head. His afro leaned to the side. "You're not with that army bear, are you?" He told me. I could feel a vein pop out of my head as I said "No." DB smiled. "Great, then I'll see you later." Before I could continue arguing, he slipped his headphones back on and danced away. "Man, I hate that guy..." I thought.
---
"Flaky!" I shouted, my voice bouncing off of the green walls. I stormed into my bedroom. "Flaky!" I growled. There was a lump under the covers. I picked them up and flung them on the carpet. Flaky was curled up in a ball, sobbing. I suddenly wasn't furious anymore. "What's wrong?" I asked, sitting down on the bed with a "squeak". "This is torture! Evil won't stop taunting me!" Seeing her this upset made me regret taking out my anger on her. "Come on, Flaky. Get up." I asked. She refused to even turn around. Not sure of what to do, I put my paw on her back and started rubbing it. "Shh... it's okay..." I whispered, trying to calm her down. Flaky rolled over. There were bags under her eyes, and he face was wet from crying. "Thank-you." She responded. Flaky straightened up my army jacket before turning to face me. "So, what were you all mad about before, Flippy?" I fixed my stare on the floor. "Disco Bear has a date with you tonight." I explained quietly. From the corner of my eye, I saw her glance at a window. "Oh..." I licked my lips for a brief moment. "Why did you accept to it?" I asked. "I've never been asked out on a date before, and I was afraid that I never would be. If I had a chance with anyone, it would be him." My heart sank. How come she doesn't have a chance with me?" "Sorry to burst your bubble, but I'm not going." I told her. Flaky stared at me with big pacman eyes. "Please, Flippy-" "I'm not going." I declared. "Fine... then I guess that I'll go instead." She said, grinning. I rolled my eyes. "Okay, I'll do it." I mumbled. "Yay! Thanks, Flippy!" She exclaimed, throwing her arms around me.
---
"Is it too late to object to this?" I asked, while Flaky stood behind me, running a comb through my quills. "Hm... Yup. Now hold still..."
---
Neon signs twinkled above me. Inside, I saw Disco Bear at a table alone, using a spoon to look at his reflection. I sighed.
---
"Looking good, baby." He complimented, pushing a chair out for me. I pressed my lips together. "Thank you." I slowly scooted away from him, but he still came closer. "You know, hon, I'm on the menu." DB said. I felt his hot breath tickle my neck. I shuddered. This would be a long night...
---
I slurped up my spaghetti as fast as possible, but DB held me up. I glanced at the clock. "Well, I gotta go, bye." I said, eager to leave. "Wait, I have a surprise for you." He told me. Do I dare look? I turned around, but when I did, my mouth connected with his. Shaking like crazy, I pulled away, then kicked him in the crotch with great force. He screamed, falling onto the tiled floor. I felt queasy, then figured out what was happening... I tried to race to the bathroom, but it was too late. I had already started throwing up on the ground.
---
I ended up vomiting everything that was in my stomach. Lumpy, holding a mop, came over to the gooey mess and said "Aw crap." I clutched my belly as I left the restaurant.

Chapter 4: A sweet killer is among us
(Flaky's POV)
I winced as the sky grew dark. Where was I supposed to sleep? My house, or Flippy's house? Shrugging it off, I went back to my home, instead. At the door step, a familiar voice crackled "Hey, Flippy!" I turned around. Handy and Petunia were standing at the end of the sidewalk. "H-hi guys..." I said nervously. Petunia gave me a large grin. "Whatchya doing at Flaky's house, hm?" She asked. For a moment, I stood there, confused, but then I realized what she meant. I felt my face get warm. "Its not like that..." I stammered. "Oh, really?" Handy said. "Then what are you doing here this late at night?" Petunia questioned me. "Uh..." I tried to come up with an excuse. "To...get...her...mail?" I choked out. She rolled rolled her eyes. Handy stared blankly at me. "Whatever you say, Flip." He replied. Both of them continued their stroll. I sighed, facing the door once again. My ears perked up when I heard a sudden popping noise. One of the street lights had went out. I balled up my fists, my chest rapidly moving. "What's going on?!" I though, when someone else answered "You don't sound like Flippy." Sweat trickled down my forehead. "Please don't flip out, please don't flip out..." I pleaded. "Wait a second... you're not Flippy! You're that little porcupine that I hate." Evil exclaimed inside my head. "This makes the killing far more interesting." He added. I started getting woozy. "What's happening?!" I heard myself yell out loud, attracting the attention of Petunia and Handy. They came running up to me with concerned looks on their faces. "Are you okay?" Handy asked first. That's when the world around me went pitch black.
--- (Normal POV)
Evil's eyes glistened as he conjured up another vicious idea. He grabbed the Christmas tree air freshener necklace around Petunia's neck and shoved it over Handy's head. The couple struggled to break free. He chuckled, going around a few times and then pulling as hard as he could, making them choke, and their heads expanded until they exploded. Evil got splashed with blood. He shut his eyes, and then Flaky was back to her normal self.
--- (Flaky's POV)
The dead bodies really frightened me... this is how Flippy lives? Getting dizzy, being blacked out, and when he wakes up, he knows that he had just killed someone? That was just plain awful...
--- (Flippy's POV)
I got up bright and early. There had been some pretty loud racket late last night, but I figured it was nothing. But on Flaky's driveway, there were two headless corpses smashed to the ground. I moaned in disgust. "It must of been some kind of accident..." I said to myself, walking past the gory scene.
---
I thought that Flaky might have spent the night at my place, so I was heading there. Trudging past houses and cars, I spotted Disco Bear over on the other sidewalk, listening to music. When his eyes met with mine, he darted across the street, over to me. "Hey babe." He told me. I glared at him. "What do you want?" He put his headphones around his neck. "Hope you get enough of me tonight." He winked at me. I felt vomit rise up my throat, but I swallowed it back down. "T-tonight? What's tonight?" I squeaked. "Don't you remember, girl?" DB asked. "Tonight is our date."

Chapter 3: Up in the act
(Flippy's POV)
"Good luck, Flaky." I called, heading off away from the house.
---
I entered a fast-food joint, grasping some dollar bills in my hand. Some dud who was having lunch with his girlfriend shouted out "Hey everyone, it's Flaky the wuss!" It seemed as though everyone in the restaurant was laughing and pointing at me. I growled. "She is- I mean, I am not a wuss!" I told the crowd. "Your voice sounds even more freakish than usual!" Another person sneered. I scowled at them all. How could they be so rude to someone as nice as Flaky? I stomped over to the front table and slammed my money down. "Chicken tenders, please." I hissed at the waitress. She slid a silver platter with the cover on top to me. "Enjoy your chicken, Flaky!" A voice mocked. I gritted my teeth, but said nothing. Carrying the platter, I walked over to a table, when a person's foot came in front and tripped me. I still held the platter in my friends, though. I felt my blood boil as the roar of laughter rose. Mumbling under my breath, I took a seat and picked up the top of my platter, nearly jumping to the ceiling when a live chicken jumped out at me, then flew onto the floor. The giggling started again, when I saw a guy point to me and say "You are such a retard." Those words stung. Flaky is many things, but she is not retarded. I completely lashed out on the guy, pounding the crap out of him. And this time... Evil didn't have to help me. I clawed him until I saw blood. I pushed him against a wall, growling into his ear "Don't your ever call me a retard again." Shakily, he nodded his head up and down. "I'm sorry... p-please don't kill me!" He begged. I shoved him back. "You're just lucky that I'm in a good mood." I said. The crowd, now full of shocked and disturbed faces, got out of the way for me and I went out the door. I sighed. "Poor Flaky..." I whispered.

Chapter 2: Options
(Flippy's POV)
I opened my eyes. Everything was a blur. Sitting up right, I observed my surroundings. There was barely enough light to see. Half blind, I found the door and pushed it open. Morning sunlight trailed into the basement. How did I get here? I noticed that my hands were red. Confusion flooded my brain. As I was walking towards the exit, I went past a mirror. Slowly, I took a few steps back to take a good look at myself. Except, it wasn't me. I was female, first of all, and I had ruby dandruff-covered quills running down my back. I was...Flaky. I opened my mouth to scream, but nothing came out. I sprinted back into the basement. My body laid on the floor. "That must be her..." I figured. I put my hands on her shoulders and shook. "Flaky..." I whispered. She was still knocked out. "Flaky, wake up." I demanded, shaking her harder. When all of my patience was gone, I yelled in her ear "FLAKY, WAKE UP!" She jolted awake. "What, Flip-" Flaky stared at me with wide eyes. She started panting when she looked down at herself. "It's okay, I'm-" "Ahhhhh!!!" She interrupted me. "Don't do that. People think that you're me, and I don't sound like that." She changed from screaming to crying. "I don't want to stay this way forever! I mean, just look at me!" Flaky pouted, putting a hand on her chest. Suddenly, I felt offended. "Hey! What's so bad about being me?" I asked, putting my paws on my hips. "What's so GOOD about being you?!" She sobbed. I was stumped. She had a point... "Well, think about me! I'm a sexy chick!" I yelled, not really controlling what I was saying. Flaky stopped sniffling and punched me in the arm. "You know, technically you're hitting yourself." I teased. This time, she slapped herself in the face. I groaned. "Alright, alright. We need to come up with a way to get us back to normal." I said. "How can we do that when we don't even know how we got this way in the first place?" Flaky replied. "I don't know... The last thing I remember is being upstairs with Cuddles." I explained. "You flipped out and killed the others, and then you tried to slice me, but you ended up cutting the generator," She pointed over to a large machine. "Until I come up with a way to get us back, we need to talk and act like each other." I told her. "Can't we tell-" "No, they'll just think we're crazy or something." "Fine." Flaky answered, frowning. After a moment of silence, she asked "So... we're actually going through with this?" I helped her up. "You're darn right we are."

Opposites attract chapter 1
Chapter 1: The switch
The street lights shone dully on the cement sidewalks. A strong breeze of wind flew by. Young voices echoed throughout the entire neighborhood. You guessed it. Halloween. Stars flickered in the night sky. Fog lingered on the streets. Charcoal clouds slowly revealed the white glowing moon. The trick-or-treaters hauled pillow cases full of candy, while the light travelers only brought a bucket. A group of friends went door-to-door and tried to get large amounts of candy. Giggles, wearing her little angel costume, got the most candy, for she was the cutest. Cuddles envied the others because they got more than him, but eventually he didn't care anymore. Flaky wore a sheet over her body, acting as a ghost. She didn't want to be anything TOO scary. She avoided standing next to Flippy, in fear that he would flip out and kill someone. He was wearing his regular army uniform. He said that he didn't care for dressing up. Cuddles lead the group to the next house. Ding dong. The front door creaked open. Nobody stood there to greet them. "Hello?" Cuddles called out. "Well, I guess that they're not here. Let's leave," Flaky sputtered out, already walking down the driveway. "I wanna check this out!" The yellow rabbit exclaimed, entering the worn-out home. Giggles clapped her paws together. "Yeah!" She followed after Cuddles. Flippy turned to Flaky. "Are you coming?" He asked. "I-I don't know.. wouldn't that be trespassing?" Flaky responded. "You don't have do go, Flaky. I just think that it will be fun... in a mysterious kind of way." She sighed and starred at the ground. "I guess you're right..."
---
The floorboards screeched with every step. Bats hung from the ceiling. "You don't see that in every home..." Flippy remarked. Large shelves displayed tattered books covered in dust. Giggles gazed in astonishment. "I think I would have remembered trick or treating here before." She said. Candles were lit to guide them through the house. Soon, they paused at the stairs. "Flippy and I will go take a look upstairs." Cuddles told the girls, who nodded in agreement. They climbed up the stairs. Giggles wondered off into a dark area. Flaky nervously paced around, until she bumped into a door, which lead to the basement. She looked down the flight of stairs, leaning in. All of a sudden, Flaky lost her balance and rolled down each step, screaming.
---
Flippy whistled. Sets of polished knight armor were set up before them. A narrow red carpet showed the direction. Cuddles darted down the isle, excited for what was in store for them. Stopping in their tracks, they observed the coffin placed at the end of the carpet. Cuddles reached his arm out. "W-wait!" Flippy stammered. He looked at the war veteran. "What is it?" Cuddles asked. "What if there's something... bad... in there?" He answered, then biting his lip. "You're not afraid, are you?" Cuddles taunted. Flippy cleared his throat. "No, of course I'm not." "Then let me open it." He sighed. "Fine..." Cuddles pushed the coffin door open. Out fell a corpse, still in the decaying process. "See? It wasn't that scary, was it, Flippy?" Cuddles said. No answer. "Flippy?" He asked, turning to his friend. Flippy's yellow eyes were locked on the dead body. He curled up his mint-green fingers as a flash back played through his head. He watched in horror as the tiger soldiers killed his other team mates. A low growl rumbled from Flippy's throat. He barred his fang-like teeth in a frown. Cuddles gasped, backing away, until he hit an armor statue. The ax from it's hand went down in an instant, slicing him in half, showing off his guts. Evil's frown turned into a homicidal smile. He snatched two other weapons, a sword and a spiky ball on a stick (I don't know what it's called...), and raced down the stairs.
---
Flaky got up and swept the dirt off her costume. She looked around, and the first thing she saw was the massive power generator. Coming close to it, she put out her paw to press a button, when an ear-piercing shriek entered the basement. "Giggles?" Flaky called out, about to check on her, when she started hearing laughter. "Oh no!" She had to get out before Evil had her cornered! The door was shut. Daring to open it, Flaky came face to face with the familiar killer. She squealed, darting back into the basement and searching for a place to hide. But the only thing that was there was the power generator. Evil confronted Flaky, leaving her hopeless as he rose his sword and swung at her head. The porcupine ducked, and the sword cut through the generator. "Huh?" It brought a powerful surge into both of their bodies. Evil and Flaky collapsed on the ground.

Danger lurks in every corner ch 10
(Flaky's POV)
Have you ever felt a certain way about someone... the opposite sex... that made you crave to be with them, 24/7? And... have you ever been so afraid of a person, you just avoid them all the time, and never try to make eye contact? I think I'm having mixed emotions right now... hatred, fear... and maybe even love... I'm just so confused... I'm not sure what to do about it.
--- (Normal POV)
That evening, he shot out of the pool area... seconds later, the place exploded (Splendid and Splendont were aiming their laser beams at each other... it didn't turn out well.) Peach and purple spilled into the sky as the fiery-orange sun slid past the horizon. Shadows faded away. Soon enough, bright dots spread up into the heavens. He slammed the door shut. Inching through room after room, he plopped into bed. He folded his arms across his chest, drifting off to sleep... feeling completely wasted.
---
She wanted to get away from all of it. She twisted the knob on her tiny gray radio. Static noises. Then, as she fell onto her couch and stared up at the ceiling, the song echoed throughout the bedroom;
Listen to your heart, when he's calling for you
Listen to your heart, there's nothing else you can do
I don't no where you're going, and I don't know why
But listen to your heart, before you tell him good-bye
A shiver went up her spine. Should she run away from her fears, or stay to conquer them? Flaky did listen to her heart... which was beating against her chest, at that moment. "I could at least tell him good-bye..." She thought to herself, turning the other way on her couch.
---
His ear twitched. He heard movement around in his TV room. Shakily, he slid out of bed, and pulled something out of his closet. A baseball bat, which glistened in the moon light. Footsteps scurry around in the other room. He put his back up to the wall, waiting for silence. As soon as Flippy got it, he jumped out and whacked the intruder as hard as he could in the head, who then dropped to the carpet. He slapped the light switch on. But when he did, he regretted his prvious movements. The intruder had been Flaky.
---
He lifted her up. Carrying the porcupine bridal-style to his chair, he noticed something that she was still holding in her hand. He pulled it out. It was a small piece of paper. "I'm sorry, but this is too much for me... I'm going away for now, but I will be back one day... With love, Flaky." He starred at the letter in shock. He was influencing Flaky to leave all of her friends and family behind? Looking up, he saw the huge purple bruise on her forehead. He brought her a blanket and an ice pack, throwing the blanket over her lap and placing the ice pack on Flaky's injury. Heading bacl to his bedroom, guilt made his stomach do flip-flops.
--- (Flaky's POV)
"Ohhh..." I groaned, feeling a large bump on my forehead. I took off the ice pack. What had happened? I remember sneaking in here through the window, note in hand, when all of a sudden, something came from behind and hit me... I bet it was Flippy. My head throbbed slowly. I grasped the ice pack in my paw. Why would he attack me, then try to help me get better? A sudden shock of reality hit me. "Where's the note?!" I wondered. "Maybe I- oh great..." A familiar face came into view. Ignoring the moving surroundings, I pushed the blanket off of me and stood up woozily. "I'm going home." Turning around to leave, he grabbed my arm. He was trebling. "Please, don't go..." He begged. I pulled away. "I'm sorry." Flippy said in a raspy voice. In a swift moment, I faced him, raised my hand in the air and slapped him so hard, he fell down. "D-don't you give me that crap!" I screamed. "I'm genuinely sorry, Flaky..." He told me, no higher than a whisper. I sighed. "Flippy... I know you are. It's not you as much as it's me, but... I just can't sleep at night, knowing that Evil has the opportunity to come and strike again..." I stopped to wipe a tear from my eye. "Good-bye..." I cried, choking on the words. I felt my paw shake as I twisted the door knob. Tears were streaming down my face as soon as I stepped outside.
---
I pulled the leather suitcases behind me. "Well... this is it." I said to myself, looking back at the town. A bright yellow taxi came before me. I got in, laying my stuff on the floor of the car. "Where to?" The guy driving asked. "Please, just take me as far away as you can from here." My lip quivered as I spoke. "Whatever, kid." He turned on the radio. Again, the words clouded up my mind;
Listen to your heart before you tell him good-bye
The taxi jerked to a halt when I shouted "WAIT!!!"
--- (Flippy's POV)
I hid my face in my paws, ashamed that I never took further action. She's gone, now... I felt terrible. Holding the note to my chest, the doorbell rang. Mumbling, I got up to open the front door. When I did, two arms pulled me into a loving embrace. "F-flaky?! What are you-" I was cut off when her warm lips touched mine, Such a joyful experience... "I was an idiot for leaving you, Flippy. I realized that I don't care how many tricks Evil has up his sleeve... I... I love you." She explained when it ended. My face went hot. "Apology excepted."
