Asking
Sonic froze. Amy was dead. Doctors came in with the shock machine, and one of the doctors yelled,
"Clear!" He shocked Amy. Nothing.
"Again! Clear!" Nothing...A tear escaped from Sonic's eye. He whispered to himself,
"I Love you too, Amy..."
"ONE MORE TIME! CLEAR!" He shocked, but nothing came. The doctors gave up, and sent the whole Sonic crew to see her. Tails came to Sonic.
"I'm sorry, Sonic." Tails said apologetically, putting a hand on his shoulder. Sonic nodded, forgiving him.
"But it's not your fault, you were there for her, and that's good!" Tails told him, trying to cheer him up. Sonic smiled weakly.
"Thanks...Can I...be alone with her for a few minutes?"
"Sure, come on-"
"With...Melody, Emily, and Michelle." Tails nodded. He left the three toddlers with Sonic. He motioned the girls to get on the bed. They did.
"Mommy..." Michelle looked at her. Her dead body. She cried and hugged Sonic's arm. Melody comforted her, and Emily was crying, and she was hugging her sisters. Sonic held Amy's hand tightly, and mourned over Amy's body. He was very tired, so he laid down by Amy's side, never leaving her. He promised to not leave her ages ago, so he did as he promised. Even though she was dead, he never wanted to leave her.
His eyes were starting to close, and he soon drifted to a deep sleep. The three noticed that and smiled. They went by Amy's side and slept with him also. They never wanted Amy to leave also.
"I never thought this would happen as soon as we got here..." Michelle said.
"I know, it seemed like all this happened in just one day!" Melody pouted. They nodded, then they went back to sleep. One of the doctors came in and said that they have to leave, but he stopped short when he saw the family sleeping and mourning over Amy. So he left the room and decided to leave them alone.

It was 3:30 in the morning, and Sonic was awake, no clue why though. He was crying a while ago, but he stopped soon. He looked at Amy's heart rating, it was still. He looked at Amy's temperature, it was going down, it was now a temperature of 108. But not enough for her to be alive.
"Why Amy? Why did you have to die?" Sonic whispered. He cried again. He wanted Amy back. There could be no one else to take Amy's place. Not Sally, Not Mina, Not any girl that could replace Amy. He wouldn't let her go. He won't let people bury her, He wanted her to be by his side. He started to sob, but silently.
Don't cry, Sonic... He heard a voice. A voice so familiar.
"Huh?"
Sonikku...
He gasped.
"Amy?" Then everything went bright. He was alone, no children beside him.
"Hello?" He got up and looked around. He stopped shortly after when he saw something. Then it went behind him. He quickly turned around and gasped. It was Amy! Only in angelic form. She had very long hair with lilac streaks on her quills, she was wearing a very long and silky white dress. She had a very kind face.
Sonic looked at her in shock, then his face saddened.
"Are you here to say goodbye?" Amy shook her head no. She came closer and pulled him closer by putting her hand on the back of Sonic's neck and kissed him warmly on the lips. Sonic widened his eyes.
Her lips...They feel so real. Sonic thought as he closed his eyes and kissed back. He put his arms around her waist as Amy wrapped her arms around his neck and deepened the kiss. After a few minutes, Amy pulled away, but she still had her arms wrapped around Sonic.
"I...I don't understand," Sonic said. Amy smiled.
"Sonic...I'm coming back." Sonic eyes widened and smiled.
"But-But how?!"
"You love me. I had to come back, I didn't know how, but my mother helped me, she said hi." Sonic smiled warmly.
"Okay, how do we get out of here now?" Sonic asked.
"Just keep on kissing me, and we'll be out of this place soon." Sonic smiled again as he got closer and kissed her on the lips. This time, he slided his tongue into her mouth and explored for her tongue. They met and danced with each other. They soon pulled away when they got back to the hospital.
Sonic looked at Amy, who was still dead, but smiled when her heart rating went back to normal, and her temperature was at 98. Her jade eyes slowly opened and smiled when she saw Sonic.
"Thank you, Sonic. For being there for me," Amy told him.
"No problem, Amy." Sonic said. He softly kissed her on the lips. Amy smiled and said,
Come on, we should get some sleep."
"Yeah."
"Mommy..." Michelle said. Amy smiled and laughed silently. Sonic and Amy snuggled close to each other and fell asleep.

It was soon morning, and Tails was up, going to the hospital. One of the nurses lead him to where Amy's room was at. He saw Sonic and the children laying down, but he didn't see Amy. He quietly got in searched for Amy.
"Hello?" Tails spoke quietly. He looked searched around the room until he tripped over a crag that was from the bed. He made a sound, but he quickly covered his mouth so he wouldn't wake Sonic and the children up. He clutched his foot with his hands and hopped with one foot to the bathroom, he knocked on the door while hopping, and no one didn't answer.
He tried opening the door, and it opened with a loud creak. Tails winced and turned around to see of anyone was awake, he sighed with relief when he saw no one was awake, but as soon as he turned around, and saw someone, and it freaked him out.
"Ahh!" Tails screamed and dropped to the floor with his hands holding his foot. The person laughed out loud. Tails's eye twitched and looked up, the person became more clear to him, and he gasped.
"A-Amy?" Tails whispered, looking at her with teary eyes. He got up, ignoring the pain of his foot, and he raised his hand and touched her to see if Amy was real. He pulled away gasped. Amy showed him a warm friendly smile.
"I'm back, Tails," Amy whispered, pulling Tails close and hugging him as a friend. Tails smiled and hugged her back with hot tears rolling down his face.
"I thought you were dead, Amy!" Amy shook her head.
"No, my mom brought me back to life, I don't know how she did it, but," Amy looked down shyly. "Sonic loved me, and I didn't want him to cry and think it wasn't his fault." Tails smiled.
"Yeah, I don't know how you guys met, but Sonic sure had a thing for you." Tails laughed as he saw Amy blush madly. He turned around and growled softly as he saw Sonic and the toddlers still sleeping.
"Man! I screamed so loud, and they still didn't wake up?! Jeez oh man, they must be like...Really Heavy Sleepers!"
"Or they have REM..." Tails looked at Amy as if she was crazy.
"What?"
"REM? The one with the dreaming thing? The one that you are like a really heavy sleeper, and parents put fire alarms by their ears and they hear nothing at all, and-"
"Okay, Tails, I'm not stupid, I know what it means." Amy cut him off. Tails looked down in embarrassment.
"Okay, well, I'm gonna go home, because I'm like REALLY, tired, but I'll see you soon, tell Sonic I said hi, and he's a really heavy sleeper." Amy giggled. He waved goodbye to Amy and left the hospital. Amy went by the bed and shook Sonic on the shoulders. Shook him for a while, but it didn't work. Amy shook him harder, but it still didn't work. She got an idea and kissed him straight on the lips. Sonic woke up after she kissed him.
His eyes traveled to Amy's eyes and smiled. Then he kissed her warmly on the lips. Amy kissed him back with her tongue traveling into his mouth. The two lovers made out for awhile until they heard a little sound.
They pulled away and listened for it again. They heard it again, and it came from one of the little girls.
"Mommy..." Sonic was staring at Michelle. He was getting annoyed by Michelle saying 'Mommy' over and over again. Amy saw that and laughed silently. She stroked his quills and kissed his forehead lovingly. Then she whispered in his ear,
"I love you, Sonic, Do you love me?" Sonic smiled and kissed her.
"Yeah, I love you..." Amy smiled and hugged Sonic tightly. Sonic kissed away a tear that was running down Amy's face. Amy giggled,
"Oh yeah, Tails came awhile ago, he said hi, and he also said that you are a heavy sleeper." Sonic laughed.
"Huh?" They heard someone say. They looked at the girls, one of them were waking up, and it was Melody. It only took a minute to find out what was going on, then she said out loud,
"MOMMY!!!!" All the girls woke up quickly and looked at Melody as if she was crazy.
"What?" Michelle and Emily said at the same time. Melody was jumping and skipping all over the white room. Michelle turned to see Sonic and Amy.
Mommy?? Michelle thought. Her eyes got teary and she smiled wide as she jumped on Amy and hugged her tight.
"Mommy!"
"See, I told you!!!" Melody shouted. Emily sweatdropped, then she hugged Michelle and her mom. Melody joined in. Sonic laughed when he saw all three toddlers hugging their mother.
After a while of hugging, Tails came over to pick up the toddlers, and Sonic told him that he and Amy would be out of the hospital soon.
"Wait, I have one question." Michelle said.
"Sure, what is it?" Tails replied.
"Did this happen all in just one day?" Tails laughed.
"No, Michelle, it has been...a week,"
"Oh ok." Tails waved goodbye to Sonic and Amy and left the room, and out of the hospital. Sonic pulled Amy closer and kissed her on the back of her neck. Amy giggled as Sonic kissed her neck. She turned around so she was facing him, and and kissed him softly on the lips. Sonic wrapped around his arms around Amy's waist and made the kiss deeper. Amy wrapped her arms around his neck. Sonic pushed her down while kissing her and Sonic is now on top of her. They have been doing that for a while, until one of the doctors came in, but he knocked on the door, and told them they had to go.
Sonic held Amy's hand as they walked to the beach and enjoyed the sunset. Amy laid her head on Sonic's shoulder as Sonic wrapped one arm around Amy's shoulder.
"I love you," Amy said silently, but loud enough for Sonic to hear. He smiled.
"If you love me, will you do something for me then?" Sonic softly told her.
"Anything." Sonic got closer to her and whispered in her ear,
"Will you marry me?" Amy smiled, and hugged Sonic and she said,
"Of course..." Sonic smiled and hugged her back, Amy kissed Sonic on the cheek and laid her head on Sonic's chest and rested peacefully.
I really Do Love you, Amy...Sonic thought as he rested along with Amy.
