Future children, Chapter 6: 109!

109...

Rouge was at Amy's house and they were chatting like best friends. They were having a couple snacks, ice cream, drinks, and more ice cream. They were watching a Spongebob show caled, 'Best Day Ever.'

"It's the best day ever!" Spongebob sang.

"I wonder how long Spongebob can sing that song." Rouge wondered aloud.

"I don't know...two hours?" Amy replied, causing Rouge to laugh.

"Yeah." Just then, the phone rang. Amy picked it up.

"Hello?"

"Amy, help me!" The person said, it appeared to be Sonic and around Sonic's house, Amy could hear cuss words.

"Sonic...What's going on?"

"Um, Knuckles...He's not doing well."

"...Um, like sick or mad?"

"Mad."

"Oh, well...I don't know what to do...Did Rouge do anything to him?"

"Probably, Cause explain the cuss words with Batgirl in it!" Amy snickered.

"It's not funny!" Sonic exclaimed.

"Ok, ok, I'm sorry, but it's just funny. Knuckles saying cuss words with Batgirl in it..."

"WHAT?!" Rouge shouted.

"Uh-oh." Sonic and Amy said at the same time...again!

"How bout' we meet in the park?" Sonic suddendly asked.

"Yeah! Now!"

"Knuckles wants to talk to Rouge though..."

"Ok, Here you go Rouge." Amy threw the phone to Rouge and ran out the door. Sonic did the same thing.

In a couple minutes, Sonic got in the park, and waited for Amy. In a few minutes once again, Amy came running and she couldn't stop, so she grabbed Sonic and tackled him to the ground. They landed safetly on the grass so they weren't hurt.

"Sorry Sonic," Amy apologized for tackling Sonic to the ground.

"It's ok, Ames." Sonic said, struggling to get up. Amy's arms was around Sonic's body, making him feel warm a bit. The air was cold and crisp. It felt like it was near Wintertime and it was. Amy and Sonic was wearing coats that match thier fur. Sonic got up, and realized that Amy was still holding him.

"Okay, Amy, you can let go now." Sonic said, trying to get out of Amy's arms.

"No, I don't wanna let go." Amy replied, laying her head on Sonic's chest. But before Sonic could say anything, he felt a warm touch on his chest. He looked down and saw Amy. But her head felt warm. Sonic pushed Amy gently and put his hand on her forehead. He felt a warm feeling in his hand. He asked,

"Amy, do you have a fever?"

"Well," Amy gulped hard. "I don't know, but I do feel sick." Amy replied softly. Her voice was getting softer now.

"Well, if you feel sick, then you shouldn't be out in this weather," Sonic picked her up in bridal style. "Come on, let's get you home, hopefully Rouge isn't there." Sonic said. He ran as fast as he could to get Amy home. He didn't like her being sick. He soon reached Amy's apartment, opened the door, and was relieved that Rouge wasn't there.

He put Amy down on her couch and asked,

"Do you have any thermometers I can use to see if you have a fever?" Amy nodded. She could barely speak now. This saddened Sonic. He looked around the room. It was a little messy, but he didn't mind. When he saw a clear cabinet full of medicines, he opened it and saw a thermometer box. He pulled out a paper thermometers that they use sometimes at school. He pulled out one and went back to Amy.

"Here, put this under your tongue." Sonic said softly. Amy did what Sonic said and Sonic told her to wait a minute or two. After two minutes, Sonic pulled out the thermometer and saw that she had a tempature of 101.

"Ok, you have a little fever of a 101." Sonic told Amy. Amy didn't say anything because her throat hurt so much.

"Amy? Are you okay?" Sonic asked with wonder. Amy shook her head no.

"It hurts..." Amy said in the raspiest voice Sonic had ever heard. Sonic winced when he heard Amy's voice. Sonic again felt bad for her. Sonic pulled her close and whispered,

"Don't worry Amy, I'll take of you..." She smiled. She thought Sonic had the sweetest voice she had ever heard. Then the doorbell rang after a few minutes.

"I'll get it, Amy." Sonic said as he got up and opened the door to see who it was. It was the children, Melody, Emily, and Michelle.

"Daddy!" Michelle yelled as she jumped on him and hugged him tight.

"Michelle! Whatever, where's mommy?" Sonic had said nothing for awhile after she asked that question.

"Daddy? Are you there?" Emily asked. Sonic snapped out of it and looked at the girls.

"Well see, um, Amy is...sick and I think you shouldn't be here." Sonic explained.

"Oh no..." Michelle said.

"But can't we do anything?" Sonic shook his head slowly. The girls looked down sadly. Sonic set Michelle down since he was tired of holding her.

"Well where were we supposed to go if we have nohwere to stay until then?"

"Do you know where Tails's house is?" The girls nodded.

"Well go to his house, and stay there until Amy gets better, ok?" The girls nodded and headed straight for Tails's house. He got in and saw Amy laying on the couch, resting peacefully. Sonic sat down by her, feeling her forehead once again, just to be safe. It felt a little warmer than before, but Sonic didn't worry about it would be better soon...

Meanwhile...

Melody, Emily, and Michelle was walking their way to Tails's house, having a little conversation.

"I really hope mommy gets better..." Emily said. The girls were all worried, they hugged each other to make them warm from the cold. They soon reached Tails's house and rang the doorbell. He opened the door and asked,

"What are you doing out here in the cold?"

"Well...we'll explain everything as soon as we get in, okay?" Tails let them in, and the girl explained everything of what's happened before.

"Okay, so...Amy's sick and Sonic says you can't get in her apartment so you won't get sick." The girls nodded.

"Ok, I'll tell you everything as soon as something happens, ok?"

"Ok!" They said.

Meanwhile...

Sonic was checking Amy's tempature again while she was sleeping. He did not know what he had done before, but he would not talk about just now. After a couple minutes, he pulled it out and his eyes widened.

"A Tempature of 109..."
