Helga/Arnold Bad Romance
*facepalm moment* It's really horrible to end a movie, WAIT, a series, too, with Arnold and Helga's relationship on edge. It has been revealed by the creator that there was supposed to be a "Hey Arnold: Jungle Movie", where they finally realize they love each other. SO ANGRY THAT THE MOVIE WASN'T FINISHED.
Oh, and even being an A/H shipper myself, that kiss was horrifying....

AT/HTF crossover part 1
"Hey, you hole! Let Wild-berry Princess go now!" The young adventure pulled out a glimmering sword. "Ha! There is no way you can stop me with such a puny weapon, Finn th-" Ice King was interrupted when Finn slashed the sword through his blue chest. "Stupid boy, I don't have a heart!" The single old man laughed. "Uh... Jake?" "No worries, Bro." Jake emerged from behind the Ice King. "Aw, who's puny now?" he taunted, punching the villain out cold. Finn unlocked Princess Wild-berry's ice cell, then said, "Let's all get out of here before Ice-doofus wakes up from his beauty nap." "Thank-you, Finn!" Wild-berry shrieked, and hopped onto Jake's back.

"Dude, I am pooped." Jake complained, as the two friends headed back to their worn-down tree house at sun down. "Ha ha, too much for you, wasn't it?" Finn laughed, nudging Jake with his elbow, even though he was tired, too. "No man, I'm just s-" "Shhh! Jake, can you hear that?" Finn asked. Silent for a second, the dog responded, "No." "Listen really closely." Hearing the background noises more intently now, Jake could make out unusual screaming coming from the woods. He shrugged. "So?" "So?! Somebody's in trouble! Get your act together, dude!" Finn exclaimed, darting through the prickly shrubs to find the source of the screaming. Jake sighed, then called "Alright, but you owe me a donut for this."

"It's coming from over here, Jake," Finn pushed so branches out of the way so he could see better. It was a small scarlet porcupine with white flakes in her quills, yelping at the skinny black crows that took turns pecking her. "Yow!" Jake said. "Yeah, I know. That poor animal is being tortured." "No, I mean, look at its hair! It really needs to use a better conditioner..." "Shut up," Finn snapped, lifting himself out of the bushes and shouting, "Hey! Leave it alone, would ya?!" Jake helped shoo off the birds, cawing into the sky. The 12 year old boy picked up the defenseless mammal. "Th-thank-you." she said softly. "Anything for you, um... you, hedgehog-thingy." Finn stammered. "I'm F-flaky," she introduced, giving them a lop-sided smile. "Yeah yeah, I'm Jake, and the kid is Finn. You got a home?" Jake asked. Flaky shook her head and fixed her gaze to the ground. "I-I was simply on an airplane ride, when we got into a horrible crash!" She started weeping. "I know that the pilot and most of the passengers are dead, but I think some of my friends may still be alive, since I haven't seen their dead bodies yet." "We'll help you find your friends," Finn told Flaky sympathetically. "Yeah, sure, but can't it wait until tomorrow?" Jake moaned. "Fine, you wuss. But Flaky gets to sleep in your bed tonight." Finn said.

"Uggh..." Flippy's vision was blurry. His body ached from the damage that the accident had on him. Finally able to see clearly, he stumbled upwards. He didn't recognize his surroundings... he was in a cave. Suddenly, a voice rose from behind him. "Hello, mortal... do you have any red on you, by any change?" He snapped his head towards the noise. A sexy vampire girl strutted out of the shadows. "No, I don't." Flippy told her. "Well, I haven't had a meal in days, and now you're here with fresh, ruby blood..." her lips moistened at the word. "I don't know what sick game you want to play, lady, but I'm not on the menu." he said. "You DARE refused to be sucked by me?" "That sounds so wrong..." "This is the only thing left of the last guy who didn't do what I said!" Marceline held up a beating heart, gushed out blood. Flippy growled. "I saw... so many organs in the war...!" he thought, his iris's changing to yellow-green. "Hm? What's this now?" the vampire chick smirked. Flippy's voice went deep. He scowled at the lady. "Where am I?" "Hey hey, cool the tone, tough-guy. I found you washed up at the beach, and decided to take you in. Now, is that such a bad thing?" Marceline flipped her long greasy bangs out of her eyes. Evil Flippy recoiled in disgust. "Don't you ever wash your hair, lady? You look almost as bad as that slutty girl that HE hangs out with..." he trailed off, his snarls bouncing off the cave walls. "It sounds to me like you wanna make out with this girl and have babies with her." "What?! No way, she's disgusting." Evil objected, sweat-dropping. But soon enough, his face expression turned cold. "Well, nice having a chat with you," he grumbled, breaking off a chip of the rocky cave wall, "but now, you'll have to die." Marceline raised an eyebrow. "I'm a vampire, stupid. I can't be killed... definitely not by a mere little bear like yourself." Veins popped out of his forehead. His face darkened to a red-like hue out of rage. "You wanna go, lady?!" Evil screamed. "Then let's go!"

"Your highness!" Peppermint Butler cried. Princess Bubblegum looked up from her science-fiction novel and sighed. She sat cross-legged on her sweet-smelling cotton candy bed. Her flowing hot pink hair was tied up in pony tails. "If it is Ice King requesting my hand in marriage, please tell him that he may go suck upon an-" "No, n-nothing like that. But it appears as though someone is eating the candy palace! There were quite large bite marks in furniture items downstairs." he explained. "Hm, I guess I shall investigate with you." Princess Bubblegum followed behind Peppermint Butler down the crispy chocolate stairs. She took notice of the walls, missing large edible chunks. When they finally reached the first floor, she winced. The whole palace had been half devoured. Her left eye twitched. "W-who did this?" she squeaked, not taking her eyes off of the damage. "I'm not sure, princess. I heard noisy chomping sounds, and I raced down here." Peppermint Butler said. "Don't worry, I will find out who's doing this..." she muttered, cracking her light pink fingers.

It was around midnight. Rain was pouring down on the land of Ooo. Flaky, obviously skittish by the roars of thunder, nervously scooted over to the window, intending to close the blinds, when two dark figures came into her blurry view, marching towards the battered home. One was slender and tall, possibly female, while the other was much more short. Panicking more than ever, Flaky rushed into Finn's bedroom, crawling up onto the mattress. "F-finn! There's someone outside!" the paranoid porcupine squealed, lightly shaking the boy, who was fast asleep. Drowsily, he opened his eyes. "Oh, hey, whatchya doing outta bed?" Finn asked, patting her head. "It was terrible! I l-looked out the window and saw s-strangers!" she cried. He sat up. "Strangers, huh? We'll deal with it. Jake, get up." Finn replied. Jake rolled over slightly on the carpet, muttering, "Just five more minutes, mommy." Picking up a pillow, Finn shouted, "Wake up, you lazy sack!" The fluffy head rest hit the dog in the stomach. He snorted. "What?" "Flaky says that there's someone outside, and you're coming with me to find out who." Finn explained. "Awww, I don't w-" Before Jake could finish, his friend grabbed his foot and dragged him downstairs.

Jake peaked through the window. "Man, I don't see any- WAHH!" "What???" Finn dashed to the window. "It... it's Marceline..." he answered, shuddering. "Marceline?" Finn repeated. "What could she possibly want?" The front door burst open, revealing the soaked vampire standing before them. Something followed behind her. Finn lit a candle and the room brightened. Marceline squeezed the water out of her hair and smirked. "Hello, weenies. I believe you have possession of something I want." "Um, what is that?" Finn asked, attempting to pry Flaky off his leg. Evil stepped out from Marceline's shadow and glared at Flaky. She squeezed Finn's leg tighter and began crying. Marceline's fangs grew an inch longer out of her mouth. "I want that delicious-looking red creature."

HTF-Random Tales
(NOTE: Just so you know, this is just a collection of random, inappropriate stories I put together in about an hour. ENJOY.)
Princess Flaky eyed the guillotine. Its blade sparkled, and it reflected her friend, entering the room with silver chains around his ankles. He stared at her, his facial expression saying "Why did you betray me, Flaky? I thought you were my friend..." Her heart ached with sorrow for the prisoner, moments away from being executed. The guards thrust his head on the wooden headrest , placing the neatly woven basket on the opposite side. Flaky sucked in her breath. "Any last words?" asked one of the guards. Flippy gave the maiden a glare as cold as ice, then sputtered out, "No." "Alright, then, ac-" "W-wait!" She pushed through the crowds, her long lime-green dress fluttering as she ran. Shifty arose from his thrown. "Who dares to interrupt- Flaky?" He exchanged puzzled glances with Queen Giggles. "Flippy did not commit any crime!" Princess Flaky cried. "D-don't kill him! Take me instead!" A voice echoed, "OH YEAAAH!", soaring from the audience. The citizens backed up to form a pathway. Disco Bear began strutting down the isle, then he moon-walked over to where the confused young girl was positioned. "I'll take you home, babe. Keep you nice and hot." He lightly blew on her neck, making the pink of Flaky's face clearly visible. "W-what???" "Hey, you're the one who said 'Take me instead', and indeed I will have s-" "Get outta here, Disco Bear. Nobody likes you." a random guard called out. "Same to you, pal. And at least my funky momma sends postcards to me from Europe!" "Um... that is a very l-large place... where in Europe does she live?" "I dunno, there is never a return address on the cards she sends me, but she says that she's in Europe, and that's what I'm gonna believe. Momma also said that she wanted my panties..." That sure shut the heck out of everyone. "I'M BACK, YOUNG ONE." The villagers twisted their heads to witness a furry brown bear with beady black eyes race down the crimson carpet to ultra-glomp Disco Bear. DB shoved Pedo-Bear off. "What the heck? Have you lost all yo disco balls?" "BALLS? HOORAY!" PB threw his arms up in the air, but he eventually put them back down to slap DB's butt. He flinched. "Child molester!" the "groovy king" shouted. "Aw, why does everyone have to use such hurtful terms? Just cause I have sex with little kids, it doesn't mean that I don't have feelings!" PB sobbed. "Who's the freakin idiot who let rapists into our castle?!" Queen Giggles howled. The rest of the guards looked at Lumpy, sweating like crazy under his heavy armor. Giggles, not impressed, announced, "Guards, let the peasant go. I think it's time we chop another head off..." Lumpy gulped. Flippy, after being let go, scurried off, yelling "I'M FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

The sugar-crazed squirrel headed into his girlfriends' hose, noticing immediately that the living room was pitch-black. "Hoo-hoo, Hershey? You home sweetie?" he called, flickering on the lights. Nutty gaped in shock of what he witnessed. It was Hershey, wrapper-off, laying on top of a Kit-Kat bar. "What the... Hershey?! You're having sex with another man?!" he barked. No answer. "Well, let me just tell you, doing that on a living room couch is just... UNSANITARY!" Quiet again. "Hmph! I never wanted to have sex with candy, anyways." Nutty lied. He knew for a fact that he wanted it all his life. Suddenly, Evil Flippy popped out from behind a brown leather chair with a flamethrower in his grasp and awkwardly shouted "IMMA FIRIN' MAH LASER!" And then they all died.

The sweet baby bear looked up at his father with a saddened expression. "Papa," Cub whimpered, "Whatever happened to Momma?" Pop sighed, then folded up his newspaper. "Do you want to hear the truth?" Cub nodded his little head in response. "Well, okay... It started off when your mother and I got high at a bar, then your mother roamed off into the street without my awareness, so I thought that Splendid was your mom, and then we made out, and then he raped me, and when we were finally out of it, Splendid had a baby, and then your mom found out about it, and then she got all emo and moved to Las Vegas right after she gave birth to you, and then she shot herself in the head with a handgun. The end." Cub stared blankly at his father. But when he started to open his mouth, he was interrupted by Toothy wailing, "SPLENDID CHEATED ON ME?!"

Giggles and Cuddles were happily skipping, paw-in-paw, through the park one morning. Disco Bear happened to be jamming to 70's music on his iPod, until he laid eyes on Giggles, jumped off the park bench and called, "See you on Saturday, my love." Cuddles' eyes widened. "What?!" "Oh, y-you know. It's only Disco Bear talking nonsense." she stuttered. Passing by more trees, Lumpy followed after Giggles, saying "Hurr, be at my place at 7:00." Cuddles jerked his head around and gave the stupid moose a 'death glare'. Lumpy, suddenly skittish from the look, trudged away from the couple. The rabbit frowned. "So, you have plans at 7:00, now d-" "No! I d-don't." Giggles fibbed to her own boyfriend. "Fine." Cuddles muttered under his breath. Only about 1 minute later, the peach-colored chipmunk rammed into The Mole. She took his paw and pulled his up off the ground. "Sorry." Giggles apologized, blushing. "Oh, it's you, Miss Giggles. Hope you didn't forget about our date this Sunday." The Mole replied. Cuddles gawked at his crush. "Date?!" he exclaimed. He lead Giggles out of The Mole's earshot, then he whispered fiercely "Exactly how many guys are you dating??? 6?" "No... 7." Cuddles gasped, "Seven men?" Giggles nodded. "What can I say... I'm a dude magnet." On the other end of the park, Handy and Petunia were having an important conversation. The orange beaver looked straight at her. "I've got something important to say." "What is it?" asked Petunia, her eyes glimmering. "I just want to say that.... first of all, the fly to your jeans is down, and second, I'm in love with Russel, SUCKA!" And then the pirate and the handyman lived happily ever after. The end.

Crimson Remembrance Chapter Two
(Flippy's POV) Chapter Two: Victory at Last
My heart literally froze after that last thump. Panic flowed throughout my blood. I pulled out my walkie-talkie, cranking the volume knob down low. Crouching even more behind a mammoth black leather suitcase (most likely containing bombs of some sort), I squeaked through gritted teeth "I have a situation here." Static noises. Then, a deep voice. "What kind of situation?" "As in, I snuck into the General's tent to find his main source of weaponry, and I think he's waking up..." I explained in an instant, my throat drying up. "FLIPPY! You need to get out of there and fast!" Sneaky croaked from the receiver. Opening my mouth to answer, the sound of the tent unzipping interrupted me. Quickly, I shut the walkie-talkie down. "Sir, we have not yet seen any approach or attack from the enemy. The others and I are becoming suspicious of the lack of activity." a tiger soldier announced. Hearing the rocky soil crunch under their feet, I held my breath, praying to god that they wouldn't spot me. "Very well, then. But it's not like those simpletons can be planning anything too devious up their sleeves." the Tiger General grumbled, stumbling after his soldier out of the tent. A low growl rose up from my throat at the insult. My team and I aren't... simpletons! Seeing no indication that anyone was near the tent, I turning the walkie-talkie back on again. "You still there?" I asked. Silence. Suddenly, a rustle coming from the bushes. A shadow from outside appeared at the foot of the Commander's tent. I let out a small gasp. They were back already?! But it turned out to just be Sneaky... I smiled with relief. "Good, it's you. For a moment there, I could of sworn I was a goner!" "Yes, yes... now, let's get outta here!" His exclamation was followed by an explosion that bordered the camp grounds. With the floor vibrating beneath me, I screamed "Holy crap! What's happening?!" Escaping the tent after me, Sneaky snickered. "Mouse Ka-Boom was creating a distraction so that I cold bring you back." he replied. I grinned. "You guys are the best." "We wouldn't be anything without our commanding officer." Darting past the vine-wrapped trees and the mossy green bushes, soon enough we reached our required destination. Drenched in sweat, Mouse Ka-Boom tossed that last explosive device we had left. "Flippeh! We have run out of ze explosivees!" he exclaimed. "Everything?! Even the hand grenades?" I questioned. Sadly, his gaze went to the grass, letting a quiet "Oui." escape his lips. Stumped, I rubbed my chin, only to remember that I had kept a spare nuclear bomb in my bag just in case I needed it. Hauling it to the floor, I pulled the device out of my collection of belongings. My teammates huddled around me. "Genius, sir! We can wipe out the entire tiger army... that is, if we get them gathered up." Sneaky said. "Hm... and I think I might know a way." I told them. "But how, Flippeh?" Mouse Ka-Boom asked. "You think that a few workers from Duncan Donuts can fly out into a war zone to deliver something?"

"Really? Donuts?" Sneaky's slime-covered tongue slipped out of his mouth during the sentence. I gave him a stern glare. "Everybody likes donuts, riiiight?" "Well, I suppose so, but-" "Then don't question the donuts!" I snapped back. We set up the open boxes of jelly donuts right on our border, letting the tangy scent kcik in. We hurried back into the bushes and kept surveillance. "This isn't gonna-" "Shuddup, Sneaky." I hissed, keeping my eyes glued to the cardboard containers. And with little time passing, the tiger soldiers began accumulating near the food, munching on the gooey insides of the donuts. Throwing the final cargo into the back of my truck, I sputtered "Let's activate that bomb before they separate."I felt a tap on my shoulder. "Uh... Flippeh?" I turned, showing my annoyance. Mouse Ka-Boom nervously shifted his eyes to the large group of soldiers, followed by the General. "What is it?" I asked, carefully slicing off a tree branch that was blocking my view. "Uh... isn't that...?" My eyes grew wide with horror. Standing in the foreground, I could easily spot the one tiger that looked different; gigantic orange eyes with speckles of scarlet the covered nearly half of his face (and a scar reaching through the right one), weapons dangling from his belt, razor sharp fangs sticking out of his mouth, a long shirt with black sleeves that went down to his sharp claws. I'd recognize him from anywhere. From shock to impulsive rage, I lunged myself through the shrubs, just wanting a shot to rip his limb from limb, but my partners yanked me back. "Are you crazee?" "Yeah, what were you thinking?!" "I want to put him through the same kind of pain he did for me!" I barked, tears flooding my eyes. "Keep it down! And you shouldn't worry about revenge... he'll be dead once we trigger that bomb." Sneaky reassured me. "We need to get out of here so we can do it, though." "Y-you're right," I said shakily, sniffling. "Let's hop to it, men." Crammed inside the truck, I steered away as fast as my car could go. When we got far away enough, Mouse Ka-Boom took out the pump and chuckled. "I have alvays wantid to do dis!" he shouted, pushing down. The explosion was so loud, I thought it had busted my ear drums. Detached body parts flew, even all the way t0 where we were located. I took a deep breath, and saluted my team. "We... have finally defeated the tiger army." I announced, beaming with pride.

(Flaky's POV)
My suspicions arose when chunks of people started walking by my house, in the exact same direction. Keeping my guard locked, I joined the crowds outside, trying helplessly to get someone to explain what's going on. The words were in fragments, but little by little, I could piece together what the citizens were chatting about. "The tigers have lost at last, eh?" "Wonder what took them so long..." "I heard their leader, uh, Floppy or whatever, is moving here to Happy Tree Town!" "Aw man, that nut? From what I've heard, he's insane!" I frowned, confused past the limit. What was everyone talking about? Finally spotting yellow bunny ears towards the front, I shrieked "Cuddles!" He froze in his tracks and looked back at me. After a few seconds of running, I caught up to him. Grinning, he told me "The W.A.R. has ended! Our side won against the General and his army!" Cuddles pulled me into his warm embrace for a quick moment. I blushed a little, stammering "Th-that's fantastic!" Never before have I gotten that kind of affection. It felt... good. "Where are we going?" I replied. "The team of soldiers are receiving awards, and we're just going to the ceremony." He blinked. "Aren't you going?" "Oh, I don't think-" "Come on..." Cuddles groaned, nudging my arm. "Okay, okay, I'll do it." I always gave into him...

(Flippy's POV)
"Hurr, okay, settle down, folks." A tall sky blue moose said into a microphone. The racket from the audience ceased. "Now, give it up for the, uh, people dat granted us freeness!" A hand-less beaver with a construction hat on revealed himself and went over to the moose. "The proper word is 'freedom', Lumpy." he whispered, loud enough for me to make out. "Uh, yeah, free-dumb." He signaled for us to get on stage. Marching, I proudly lead the team across the stage to the wooden podium. 'Lumpy' handed me the mic. "Uh... hello. My name is Flippy, along with my soldiers, Sneaky and Mouse Ka-Boom." They both waved sheepishly to the crowd. "It was an honor for us to serve this town. Thank you." Claps of thunder came into earshot. As the beaver tried to pick up the medals to give us, clearly frustrated, I skimmed the audience, wanting to get a good look at everyone. A squirrel with a red bandanna over his eyes saluted to me. With a flick of the hand, I saluted back. There was a purple beaver with large back teeth and an autograph book in his clutches, a midnight-blue skunk fidgeting around with her Christmas tree necklace, a peach chipmunk cheering along with a yellow rabbit next to her... and that's when I spotted the battered-up porcupine cowering fearfully behind the rabbit.
Crimson Rememrance Chapter One
Chapter One: Brought to safety
(Flaky's POV)
Cold, lifeless sky hung above me. The dazzling night dancers seemed to have vanished. I laid low, for fear that they might find me. They have already had their fun. Beat me with their eyes closed. Pried the crinkled-up dollar bills from my dead paws. Just because I lack courage, they think I'm some kind of scrawny weakling. Which I am. I felt my right eye swell and throb. Bruises ran up and down my body, not too visible against my tattered scarlet fur. A deep slash cut through the tissue at the side of my mouth. I tried to swab up the blood with the back of my hand, only to have it dripping down my chin. My arms and shoulders ached with pain, resulting from the many times they had slammed me against the dark brick alley walls. A light chime continued to ring in my ears, most likely from their screaming "Dance for us, you weak little slut!" Their taunts made my insides sting. "My other girl friends had never been abused like I have... why? How is it that I'm their target? I never did anything to deserve what I have already gone through..." I questioned, particularly to no one. An eerie crackle erupted from the sky. White strikes of lightning emerged out of the charcoal clouds. In an instant, rain began pouring down over the small town. Racing past the thick maple trees, I scanned the area for shelter from the storm. Strong gusts of wind swept away the numerous dandruff flakes from my flowing red-violet quills. With one accidental trip, I slid across the muddy grass, scraping my skin as I rubbed against the cement sidewalk. My bones trembling from the stinging cuts, I pushed myself up and limped onwards to what I believed was safety. "Breathe in and out, breathe in and out..." I instructed myself calmly, and obeyed the directions. I squinted past the horizon, and there it was. "I'm safe!" Within at least 20 feet, there was a tree-shaped house, lights blurring from the windows. The fat branches swayed with the breeze, and the rainwater flooded out the beautiful little garden that surrounded the doorsteps, but I ended up deciding that it seemed like a sturdy place to stay against the rowdy weather outside. I stomped up the doorsteps and pounded my fists against the soggy wooden door, shouting "Please, help me!" at the top of my lungs. Hearing dainty footsteps, the door creaked open. A slender female squirrel laid eyes on me and gasped, "You poor thing!" She pulled me inside and sat me down on a brown leather chair that faced the smoky fireplace. "You must be freezing!" Giggles' mother said sympathetically, draping a fuzzy olive blanket over my shoulders. "I'll make some tea," she told me before throwing on her apron and heading into the kitchen. I tilted my head back, then took a whiff of the toasty smell of burning bark from the fireplace ride up my nostrils. My vision cleared up, I let my eyes explore the contents of the cozy room. Old family photos hung on the rough walls. I heard the TV blaring from the next room. I observed the collections of knick knacks displayed on dusty bookshelves. I had known Giggles for a long period of time, but we weren't close enough friends to be inviting each other over to our own houses. Her mom returned moments later with a silver platter, carrying the steaming porcelain cups of tea. Her lips curled into a friendly smile. She handed me my tea. I took notice of the rose petal designs on the sides, shakily rising the cup up to my dry mouth and taking large gulps, letting it burn my throat. An expression of concern arose on the young woman's face. "How did you end up this way, dear?" she asked politely. " I was a-attacked when this group of guys pulled me into an alley n-next to the local market. They beat me, then stole my m-money." I stammered in response. Her eyes widened with shock. "Oh my...!" she cried out. "Giggles, come here, please!" Hearing her mother's call, the peach squirrel steeped into the doorway, tightening her bow. "Yes, mo- ...Flaky?" Puzzled, Giggles stared at me, her pacman eyes practically bulging out of her furry head. "What happened?" "She'll explain that later, sweet heart. Please go fetch this unfortunate sole some bandages and a hot wash cloth." she told her daughter. Gazing into my eyes, she reassured me with a small grin "We'll help you get better, Flaky. Don't you worry." I raved their generosity greatly. Giggles rushed back with the supplies that she had retrieved and put it in the possession of her mom. "Hold still..." she muttered, pressing the damp cloth against my wounds. I shut my eyes and sighed with content. The tingle of warm water on my skin made me feel a rush of exhilaration course throughout my veins. The gauze wrapped around my battered-up arms and legs, transforming me into a porcupine-mummy. Snuggled up in warmth, I let one eye pop open to see Giggles and her mother drowsily treading off to bed. "There's a guest room unoccupied down the hallway. Wake me up if you require any more service." she yawned, closing the door to her bedroom. I gathered the blanket in my arms and scurried past the guest room doorway. The floorboards screeched with every step. Flipping on a switch, a lamp flickered on, brightening up the entire room and bouncing off the maroon-colored walls. Sleepily, I stripped the covers off of the mattress and laid myself down, pulling the blanket over my head. Blindly, I pressed down on a side button next to the light-bulb and the light flashed off once again. Oh, how I longed for deep sleep fantasies to play in my head, it's the only way to escape my nightmare of a life...
~ ~ ~
I awoke to the beams of morning sun, welcoming me to another crappy day. My knotted up stomach moaned, as if begging for something to eat. Smoothing out the ruffled blanket (and covering up the evidence that I slept there), I strode down the hall, every once in a while catching a glimpse of the other rooms with their doors half-opened.While not hearing a peep from my hosts, it occurred to me that they may have left a little earlier. I searched for a fresh pile of stick notes and something to write with on a desk in the office parallel to my room, and ended up discovering them by a brand new computer in the process of being hooked up. Its black screen glimmered in the light, smudge free. The key board was clear of grimy food stains, hairs, or any other kind of sticky drink that got spilled while typing. "Hmph, at least they can afford this kind of technology. Meanwhile, I'm scraping for pennies!" I told myself, envy boiling deep inside of me. Picking up a Number 2 pencil in my light grasp, I wrote:
I appreciate your efforts to nurse me back to health and give me shelter. But alas, I will not take advantage of your kind offer, and will be heading home, now. Thank you very much!
Sincerely, Flaky
After dotting all of my 'I's with hearts, I carefully peeled off the crisp sticky note and stuck it onto the shiny frame of the monitor. Shutting the front door behind me, I hummed "Off to home I go..."

Imaginary-FxF
"N-no... This can't be happening!" he exclaimed, watching the town he once loved burn to ashes. The smoky air clouded up his thoughts. He was battered up. Bruised. Dry blood covered his mint-green fur, making it hard to tell what his true color was.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, paper flowers
The sky dimmed into a red-orangish color, black clouds storming in. The wind hissed in his ears. "It's all your fault." it whispered.
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, paper flowers
He remembered just this morning, everything was normal...
---
The alarm blared in his ears. "Another day..." he sighed, dragging himself out of bed. Straightening out his beret, he headed outside to his truck.
I linger in the doorway of alarm clock screaming
"Flippy, Flippy..." "Leave me alone," he snarled at his counterpart.
Monsters calling my name, let me stay
---
He rode to the game, late, racing across the slippery tufts of grass. He took a seat on the bleachers next to Flaky and Toothy. "Hi, glad you could make it" she said sheepishly. He lightly nudged her arm. "I'm glad I could make it, too."
Where the wind would whisper to me
"Home run!" The crowds roared, clapping and cheering. Suddenly, everyone turned silent. A spark entered the sky. It exploded into bright colors, screeching throughout the stadium. "No!" It all blacked out.
---
Where the raindrops, as they're falling, tell a story
He toppled over into the dust covered Earth, drifting off to sleep...
---
The breeze ticked his face. His eyes grew wide, lifting his body out of the flowers. He was laying in a gorgeous field, the blazing sun beating down on hi. The sky decorated with fluffy clouds, the air smelling fresh.
In my field of paper flowers
"Wha... Where am I?" he wondered, standing up now. Something tapped his shoulder.
And candy clouds of lullaby (flowers)
He looked around and saw Flaky, in a sleeveless maroon dress that went all the way down to her ankles. A golden necklace dangled from her neck. Her ruby quills were carefully combed to one side. She smiled at him, her eyelashes fluttering.
I lie inside myself for hours
He stared st her in awe. "Come; We mustn't be late!" She drew him close to her, then a rainbow pathway appeared from out of the clouds, and sank down to the ground. "Uh..." Flippy gazed at it, kind of confused.
And watch my purple sky fly over me (flowers)
Flaky let out a giggly laugh. "Don't just stand there! Come on!" She tugged on his hand, leading him up the rainbow.
---
Don't say I'm out of touch
"We're home!" Flaky announced, talking through a front door. "Great!" The lock jingled, and soon enough, the door opened, revealing Petunia. She had navy blue hair that was laid back into a pony tail. Perfume lingered around the attractive looking skunk. "Flippy! Flaky! Make yourselves at home and come in."
With this rampant chaos- your reality
As he entered the living room, he couldn't help but gasp. "Holy..." He didn't dare to continue.
I know well beyond the sleeping refuge
Lammy and Truffles chatted on the couch, while Mr. Pickles had a hot-pink bow wrapped around him. Nutty was carelessly sucking on a sour-green lollipop. Handy was muscular... arms? Cuddles was stringing his hand through Giggles' soft peach hair. And just when Flippy thought it couldn't get any more strange, he laid eyes on Disco Bear, wearing mascara and spiky black hair, fooling around with a pocketknife. "S-since when is DB goth?" he stammered, but nobody seemed to hear him.
The nightmare I build my own world to escape
Petunia came out with a tray of steamy mugs. "Hot chocolate, anyone?" she called. Everyone else nodded in response.
In my field of paper flowers
He chugged down the warm drink, as someone else came into the room. "Sorry we're late." Splendid said.
And candy clouds of lullaby (flowers)
"That's okay! And... I see you brought your girlfriend with you, huh?" Flaky asked. "Toothie wanted to come." Splendid replied. A sexy purple female beaver stood beside him. Flippy almost spit out his hot chocolate. "Good god, this is started to get weird..." he mumbled under his breath.
I lie inside myself for hours
Flaky snuggled up next to him. "Life couldn't be any better..." she whispered, then kissed his ear. "I know." he agreed, then a sharp pain shot through his head.
And watch my purple sky fly over me (flowers)
His skin went pale, as he clutched the back of his head. "What's going on...?" he moaned, before passing out.
Swallowed up in the sound of my screaming
His eyes refused to open. There were crashes and screams, followed by Flaky's whimpering. "Please, Flippy, snap out of it!" Her begging turned into shrieking, then Flippy heard a growling voice shout "Die, whore, die!"
Cannot cease for fear of silent nights
Drowsily, when all the noise stopped, he got up, studying the remains of the house. Splatters of red spread across the room. He held his breath when he spotted Flaky, front facing the carpet. He rushed over to her aid.
Oh, how I long for deep sleep dreaming
He turned her body over, seeing that there was a deep gash through her forehead, still gushing out blood. "N-no..." he sobbed.
The goddess of imaginary light
He noticed that her necklace was missing. He desperately searched for it... and he finally realized that it was around his own neck, soaked in her blood.
In my field of paper flowers
Horrified, Flippy tore off the necklace and threw it on the ground. "Why was I made like this? How come Splendid didn't stop me?!" he yelled.
And candy clouds of lullaby (flowers)
"I'm.... Evil...."
---
I lie inside myself for hours
He awoke to the same nightmare as before... his friends dying in a tragic fire. Flippy put his face in his hands, then said softly "I'm a monster..."
And watch my purple skies fly over me (flower)
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, paper flower
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww, paper flower
The end

FxF- Thanks for the memories
(Flippy's POV)
There we were, laughing, chatting, holding hands. Her quills poked me went we held each other in an embrace, but I didn't care. Her warmth was worth it. I should of known not to go on vacation. One moment, I'm enjoying the tropical-smelling drinks and the salty water splash against my face in Hawaii. The next, I come home, longing for some affection from her, when HE shows up. That back stabber had been hanging out with her after baseball practice, claiming to be helping her 'work on her aim'. But I know what he was really doing. Controlling her like a puppet, easily changing her mind. He was my friend, who offered up the idea of going on vacation in the first place because he said I was way too stressed. Now... I can barely even stand to look at him. His face makes me gag. He swiped what was closest to me. He won't get away with her that easily...
~~~
I'm gonna make you bend and break
I crawled through the shrubs, snapping twigs and crinkling up leaves from under me. Finally spotting the hot sunlight, I ducked, taking a step out of the bushes. I hid behind a tree, peaking at the couple sitting on the bench.
Say a prayer but let the good times roll
She folded her legs, talking to Cuddles. "Good," I thought, "they don't know I'm here."
In case God doesn't show
Flaky smiled and leaned her head against his furry yellow shoulder. "I'm sure glad I have you." I wasn't sure, but that's with I think she said.
And I want these words to make things right
"Hey Flippy. What are you doing?" I jumped a little, my heart pounding so fast, it could burst. I turned to Handy, who was standing behind me. I put my index finger over my lips. "Shhh." I pointed over to Flaky and Cuddles. He frowned. "Them?" he mouthed. No Handy, I'm just pointing at the bench because I think it looks pretty. I nodded in response, when I noticed movement at the corner of my eye.
But its the wrongs that make the words come to life
The two stood up, then they merrily walked hand-in-hand down the grassy path.
And who does he think he is?
"Oh, I get it." Handy said with a smirk. "You're just jealous." "She was on the verge to asking me out, when he came into the picture!" I exclaimed silently.
If that's the worst you've got you better put your fingers back to the keys
"And that's why you're spying on them? I don't really understand your motive." "Just look at them! It's not right... Where's Giggles in all of this? Isn't she his girlfriend?" I asked him, watching Flaky and Cuddles go out of view.
One night and one more time
"Not ever since they had that fight and broke up while you were gone." He explained.
Thanks for the memories, even though they weren't so great
"That's stupid! I'm going to confront Giggles immediately and try to get their relationship straightened out." And without further discussion, I marched off, my mission clear. To get Giggles and Cuddles back together again.
~~~
He tastes like you only sweeter
I had to try Petunia's house first because it was the closest, and those girls were practically sisters. The skunk had answered the door with bags under her eyes and her spine bent. "Yeah?" "Uh... Is Giggles here at the moment?" I said in a sheepish tone.
One night, yeah and one more time
"The last thing she needs right now is a guy," she sputtered out rudely. "I don't want to date her, I just want a word with her." I told Petunia between gags.
Thanks for the memories, thanks for the memories
"Alright, but be careful. If you mention anything about the breakup, she'll get outraged." she muttered, letting me in.
See he tastes like you only sweeter
~~~
Giggles had been pacing around in circles all afternoon, mumbling quiet words under her breath. "H-hey, can I talk to you?" I asked. She jerked to a halt, then glared at me with fire burning in her eyes. "What do you want?" "To help you make up with Cuddles."
Been looking forward to the future
She scrunched up her paws into fists and screamed at me, "Why would I make up with that idiot?! I hate him so much!" "That's not true," I argued, "you like Cuddles. You're just so mad about the fight, you're hiding the fact that you miss him."
But my eyesight is going bad
Giggles calmed down, resting her head in her peach-colored palms. "I miss him dearly," she confessed, "but he's with Flaky now."
And this crystal ball
"Well then, I suppose that you'll just have to change Cuddles' mind, and I'll do Flaky." Her gaze locked with mine and she grinned. "Sounds like a plan to me."
Is always cloudy except for, when you look into the past
~~~
I sat on one of the squeaky metal bleachers, watching the baseball game. Flaky slid across home base, cheering victoriously. I loved that smile. Her team's number increased on the scoreboard. Nutty came up to bat next, uncontrollably laughing as he rose the baseball bat, preparing to swing. Whack! He hit the ball with such great force, it crashed into the scoreboard, sparks flying. I saw a horrid memory flash before my eyes. "No... not now, not here..."
~~~ (Normal POV)
One night, one night stand off
His eyes turned a yellowish-green color. He hopped down the bleachers, mind set for killing the players.
One night and one more time
From the bench, Flaky squinted to see the veteran bear tackle one of her teammates, stuffing a hand grenade down their throat.
Thanks for the memories, even though they weren't so great
"What the... Flippy?" She raced over to ask him what was going on, until she noticed that he was flipped out. Evil yanked out Cuddles' eyeballs and replaced them with baseballs, easily defeating the rabbit by using the lawn mower that they used to cut the grass on the field to run him over.
He tastes like you only sweeter
While Evil was busy tying Lumpy's organs around the moose's neck, Flaky gathered enough courage to pick up a bat, and shakily come up from behind him. She tried not to hit Flippy too hard, he was still he friend, but enough to snap him back to normal.
One night, yeah, and one more time
He tumbled to the ground, the prickly blood-stained grass rubbing up against his face.
Thanks for the memories, thanks for the memories
~~~ (Flippy's POV)
I stumbled towards her, reaching my paw out. "Please, let me explain..." "Why were you even here in the first place?" she whimpered, looking at me with soft eyes. "I, uh.... wanted to tell you something."
I only think in the form of crunching numbers
"Well then, what is it?" "I... I don't like you dating Cuddles, Flaky." I whispered, blinking back the tears.
In hotel rooms, collecting page 6 lovers
"Oh, so it's your job to tell me who I'm not supposed to date, huh?!" she asked, hands on hips.
I'm a liner away from getting you into the mood
"Then what are you trying to tell me?"
One night and one more time
"I'm just trying to tell you that... I...." I stammered. "You what?"
Thanks for the memories, even though they weren't so great
"I love you. Before I went on vacation, I was waiting patiently for you to ask me out, but you never did. I was crushed when I came back to hear that you got a boyfriend, Flaky! I'm sorry... All I want is to make things right." I explained.
He tastes like you only sweeter
Her eyes grew wide with shock. "I... don't know what to say, Flippy." she replied, looking away.
One night, yeah, and one more time
"So, what's your answer?" I asked.
Thanks for the memories, thanks for the memories
"I'll need to think about it for some time, if that's okay with you." Flaky said, before running out of the stadium.
See he tastes like you only sweeter
~~~
After a week without any feedback, I started to get worried. "She is too nice to tell me no," I figured, when the phone rang, as if on cue.
One more night, and one more time
My heart skipped a beat. It was Flaky calling.
Thanks for the memories even though they weren't so great
I quickly picked it up. "Hello?" I spoke into the receiver. "Hi, Flippy..." He tastes like you only sweeter
"Listen..." she began, but didn't dare to continue. I gulped. She sounded like she felt sympathy for me, which could only mean...
One more night and one more time
"Giggles came over and apologized to Cuddles last night." she told me.
Thanks for the memories, thanks for the memories
"So, does that mean...?" "Yup, we're not together anymore." Flaky sighed. I couldn't help but feel a little guilty. "I'm sorry." "It's okay. I was wondering..." "Yes?" "Would you like to go out with me for dinner sometime?"
See he tastes like you only sweeter
"I'd be delighted to."
The end!
HTF- The ferret song
Ha ha, I found this while watching one of Jason Steele's works, "Happy ferrets". Of course, me thinking it was a little kid show, clicked it out of curiosity. I thought it was strange since I've never seen it before on Nick Jr. or Playhouse Disney. I laughed a little, but when it got to "the screams of a man in pain", I was flipping out, saying "Holy cow! This isn't a kids show!"
I wanted to hear Flippy's voice, found out that he doesn't really talk (only gibberish), and stopped watching for a while...
I wanted to hear Flippy's voice, found out that he doesn't really talk (only gibberish), and stopped watching for a while...
Ah, memories...
This was the first episode I ever saw of Happy tree friends. I was actually excited about it since I was watching an AMV for the ferret song, when a certain green bear caught my eye. I found out what his name was, saw some fan art dedicated to him, then right before I went to school, I watched this. I was shocked to see all of the gore, though. It really scared me, which drove me away from it for a couple of months. But then, I heard the writers of HTF were making Sonic now... ;)
The haunting spirit ch 4
Chapter 4: Rescued?
The car door clicked open. He rubbed the blue and purple bruises on his head, stumbling out. His truck was wrecked in the front, headlights dangling out of their places, shattered windows, and Flaky was nowhere to be seen. A twitching orange leg stuck out from under one of the wheels, drenched in red. Flippy sweat-dropped. "Eh, sorry Handy." Flaky, reappearing, spun him around. "So," she said, "how are you doing?" He scowled at her. "You made me loose control of my car, crash into a building, and kill somebody. You think I'm happy?!" he asked. She opened her mouth to answer, but was interrupted by a loud crackling sound, then the walls started to cave in. "It's coming down!" Flippy exclaimed, getting prepared to sprint away. She came so close to him that he could see the glow reflecting off of her fur. "Grab onto me." She instructed, holding her arms out. "OK, if it gets us out of here!" He wrapped his arms around her, blushing a ruby color because his face was rubbing up against her chest. They both turned transparent, then she brought him under, through the floor. Flippy couldn't feel anything but the warm embrace of Flaky. The next thing he knew, they flew out of the soil-packed ground. He let go, gasping for air. "I'm visible again," he thought, looking up at her. He saw a small smile form across her lips. "Are you alright?" She threw out a hand, but he just continued gaping at her. "You... you saved me..." he coughed. "I couldn't let you die," Flaky told him. Flippy stared in awe. Finally, he reached out his arm and held her paw in his grasp. "Thank-you." She grinned sheepishly. "Really, it was no problem."
~~~
Moonlight shimmered through the blinds, dancing on the thin floorboards. He twisted and squirmed in his sleep. Why didn't he flip out during the time that the building had crashed down? Why wasn't Evil lingering around in his thoughts anymore? He heard faint screaming ringing in his ears. It sounded like a mixture of male and female voices, very familiar, then... an explosion. "I'm sorry," the female voice sobbed. "I... I need to kill you. His brain is merged with mine... I think what he thinks. I feel his exact emotions. Please, understand this; I love you, and I would never, ever think of hurting you, no matter what you do to me. But, he will posses me, and I will have no choice." she explained, crying again. "I'm just so sorry..." "I don't care about your little girlfriend anymore," the male voice growled, "I want you."
~~~
A queasy feeling rose up in his throat the next morning. He stayed in bed for at least 5 hours more. A figure slid through the wall and giggled. "Did I scare ya?" Flaky asked. Flippy sighed, too sick to respond. This came to her attention. She glided over, climbing up on top of him. "What's wrong?" Her expression saddened. "Flaky... you would never keep anything from me, would you?" He tilted his head forward, his eyes meeting hers. She nervously curled up her fingers. "Of course not..." "That's really good to know." He started acting better, lifting himself up and exiting his bedroom. He glanced back at her. "You coming?" "I-I'll be with you in a second." "Okay." He closed the door behind him. She looked down in guilt. "He's catching onto me," she thought.
Please, understand this; I love you, and I would never, ever think of hurting you, no matter what you do to me. But, he will posses me, and I will have no choice." she explained, crying again. "I'm just so sorry..." "I don't care about your little girlfriend anymore," the male voice growled, "I want you."
~~~
A queasy feeling rose up in his throat the next morning. He stayed in bed for at least 5 hours more. A figure slid through the wall and giggled. "Did I scare ya?" Flaky asked. Flippy sighed, too sick to respond. This came to her attention. She glided over, climbing up on top of him. "What's wrong?" Her expression saddened. "Flaky... you would never keep anything from me, would you?" He tilted his head forward, his eyes meeting hers. She nervously curled up her fingers. "Of course not..." "That's really good to know." He started acting better, lifting himself up and exiting his bedroom. He glanced back at her. "You coming?" "I-I'll be with you in a second." "Okay." He closed the door behind him. She looked down in guilt. "He's catching onto me," she thought.

SO BEAUTIFUL!
"Flippy is an artist. He inspires us all. He just uses some tools to create his masterpiece. He loves painting his favorite color on the wall; Red."

Chapter 3:
Her explanations
"Nyyyyaah!" She pinned him down, beating him through every punch. "And this is for what happened at the Christmas party! (don't even ask)" she yelled, slapping him hard in the face. "And... this is for-" "Knock it off already!" he told her. "Besides, you have an advantage. You can touch me, I can't touch you. How is that fair?" She let him up. "You made me suffer all of those times you flipped out. It's your turn, now!" Her eyes flared a light-green color. "Yes... yes... you will die this time!" she choked between laughter. "I'm not the one who killed you." he said, catching her attention. "What?! Of course you are!" Flaky argued, looking confused for a split second. "No, I'm not. That would be Fliqpy... you know, Evil?" Flippy explained. She reconsidered this. "Alright, I'll back down... for now." Blinking, her eyes turned back to pac-man form. "How did I flip out this time?" he asked softly. Her stare went to the floor. "You know that game where you press a plastic dome that had dice inside to roll?" He nodded in response. "We didn't know that it would make such a loud popping noise... When we saw your pupils changing, we decided that we would hide. You found us, though." Flaky replied, despair ringing in her tone. Suddenly, it became quiet. "...Why are you here?" Flippy asked, breaking the silence. She blew the quills out of her face. "To make sure that a lesson gets through to you," Flaky answered. "What are you, my mom? I don't need this..." he trailed off, when he got a cold glare from her. "In the end, you'll learn..." she told him. "Pfft, whatever." "You're lucky, you know that? If you weren't so freaking cute, I would have been gutting you like a fish by now," Flaky said sheepishly. "I always had a feeling that you were a fan girl." She lightly smacked him in the ribs. "But don't think that this is the last of me." And with that, she vanished into thin air, leaving Flippy all alone.
~~~
That old quote she knew... "Violence is never the answer". It always seemed like the correct answer for Flippy. She envied how he never died. How he never gets murdered. Something deep inside was urging her to the plan... as in, gaining his trust, and when he puts his guard down- BAM! She would strike, giving him a taste of his own medicine. "It seems so wrong... I don't want to hurt him. He's one of my best friends, and maybe even my-" "If he really liked you, why is he doing all of this? Do you enjoy being tortured to death?" "Well, no... but..." "But what?" The two sides of her mind conflicted. "He can't help it." "Fine, then. Let him get away with it for the billionth time, why don't you? Just remember this... He caused you all of this grief, even if he didn't mean to. If only one spark of homicidal revenge doesn't teach him a lesson, then I don't know what will."
~~~
Odd enough, Flippy found his old truck parked outside. He drove away as fast as he could. He'd never want to go back into that nut house again. He pressed the breaks at a stoplight. "That was... strange. What if she really does come back?" He thought, noticing that the light has turned green again. His foot stomping on the gas pedal, a head poked through the windshield. "Hiya!" Flaky greeted. Flippy screamed, the steering wheel spinning out of control. The truck swerved off the street and crashed into a brick building.

The haunting spirit ch 2
Chapter 2: Meeting the dead
Everything had been a blur. One moment, he had been playing cheesy boardgames with his friends, bu the next... the world went black. Woozily, he staggered up to a wall. It was clean and crisp... He gained his balance and observed his surroundings. Stubbly carpet floor under his feet, the room he was trapped in was only about 7 by 7 ft. No doors. No windows. No hope of ever escaping, either. "Hello?" A cold thought of isolation entered his brain. He tried again. "Where am I?" Icy hands grabbed onto his ankles and dragged him through the floor. He strained himself trying to latch on to something, or even sinking his nails into the carpet. But alas, he slipped through the ground, falling to his possible doom.
~~~
It was the place he remembered last... except with all the broken furniture, shards of glass, and blood everywhere. He heard a "Drip, drop." sound. Lifting his head up, he saw the pool of blood, dripping from the ceiling. That's when he noticed the scattered body parts and decaying corpses lying around. Flippy bit his lip. "I did this," he said softly, taking off his army beret, in respect for his dead buddies. "You sure did," A smooth voice rang. "What?" He turned around. No one was there. "Hmph..." He put his hat back on, heading for the door. "Where do you think you're going, mister?" It called out again. He gave the door a stern look. "Who said that?!" No response. He scowled, back facing the door. "Answer me!" Flippy yelled at the ground. Someone tapped him on the shoulder. He looked behind him and glared, only to have his expression change to fear. "Boo." The girl had a pale tint added to her skin, making her seem like she wasn't even real. "AHHH!" He yelped, backing away. She giggled. "Calm down, it's me." Flippy gave her a puzzled stare. But then it grew compassionate. "Oh... it's just you, Flaky." he said, with a sigh of relief. "Uh... what's with all the makeup?" She frowned. "I'm not wearing makeup." Smoothing out her ruffled gown, Flaky took a deep breath. "Yeah right... like your skin went that color overnight?!" "It did when you killed me," she mumbled. "And... the angel costume? Halloween must of came early this year." He teased, smirking. "What? No, you don't-" "And the halo? Is that seriously necessary?" Flippy asked her. "Will you just shut up for a second and let me explain?" She snapped, gritting her teeth. "I am dead." she told him. "How can you be dead if I'm talking to you right now, huh?" "No, you twit. I'm a ghost." She hissed at him. "Ha ha, right. That's a good one, Flaky." Flippy intended to pat her back, but his paw went right through her body. He gazed at her with wide eyes. "I....I...." He pulled out a weapon from his pocket. "I have a knife! S-stay away!" Flippy warned her. She grinned. "Go ahead, tough-guy. Stab me." Doing as she said, he slashed the knife through her face, only to watch it heal in a flash. "You can't hurt me now..." Flaky said, taking a step forward, "but I can certainly hurt you." He gulped. "This won't be fun..."
The haunting spirit ch 1
Chapter 1:
Coming out of the shadows
She violently shook as she was crouching behind a broken splintery chair, her teeth chattering. "Shh!" Her chipmunk friend said, putting a hand over her mouth. "He won't find us if we don't make any noise!" Giggles whispered, patting the nerve-wracked porcupine on the back gently. "HEEELP!" A shriek echoed, bouncing off the blood-stained walls. Flaky sighed. "He got Petunia." She shuddered, imagining the unbearable torture that the midnight blue skunk had to be facing. A yellow body flew with a splat onto the wall before them. "Cuddles... no...!" Giggles whimpered, using a fuzzy paw to wipe away a tear that was beginning to roll down her peach-colored cheek. Flaky looked at her with soft eyes. "I-I'm sorry that it had to come to this..." She said with a huge lump in her throat. Giggles' expression turned strict. "We need to get out of here, now." "Thanks for stating the obvious." They might be the only survivors left... Putting her fat ribbon bow back in her fur, she peeked her head out and scanned the room. "I'm pretty sure that the coast is clear," she alerted Flaky, rising up. "How can you be so sure?!" "I'm not, but are we gonna waste our time hiding like cowards?" "If that means staying alive, then yes!" Flaky protested, crossing her arms defiantly. "We won't live for much longer if we don't take action now." Giggles eyed the door. "That's the exit!" she exclaimed, jumping towards what she believed was freedom. "Wait, it's a trap!" Flaky shouted, when she caught a glimpse of the yellow eyes from the shadows, peering at her. She was completely terrified when the lights clicked off. She heard a shattering sound, then something heavy dropping to the white-tiled floor. Chandelier flickering back on, Giggles laid in the puddle of warm blood that was oozing out of her skull. Flaky pushed herself against a wall. "And I'm next..." she thought.
~~~
Her breathing was slow and steady. Her hands were all clammed up, but she barely took notice. The September winds outside were mighty, ripping the death leaves off of trees and carrying them far, far away... The door slammed. Her heart nearly leaped out of her chest, pressing hard against the ribcage. A beeping sound... a timer, perhaps? She bobbed her head to the right. A digital clock attached with colored wires to sticks of dynamite? "A homemade bomb... how original," Flaky thought sarcastically.
~~~
The bomb fumbled in her paws. Thoughts raced through her head on how to deactivate it all at once; "Disconnect the blue wire!" "No, cut the red, instead." "That's not right... just pull the yellow wire out of its freaking socket!" Voices seemed to be screaming at her. "What do I do???" Flaky asked herself repeatedly. "If Flippy were here," her mind reminded. "He would give you instructions on how to get through this." She kicked her own leg. "Don't be ridiculous, he got me tangled up in this mess in the first place!" she said in a snarly tone. "Who?" someone from behind asked. The bomb slipped out of Flaky's hands and she spun around, coming eye-to-eye with Flippy. "H-how did you-" "Is that what I think it is?" He leaned down and picked up the explosive device in his firm grasp. "Yeah! Can you please stop the clock from counting down, please?" she begged. He barred his teeth in a smile. "Why, I'll stop it alright..." With a sudden jerk, he shoved the bomb right through her chest. His eyes glistened with hate, now. "Oh no!" She fell to her knees, her head throbbing. Not only did the hole in her chest sting like crazy, but soon enough, she would be blown to smithereens. "See ya!" Evil snickered, trailing out of the building. Flaky moaned in pain. "Why... does this have to hurt? Not just the dying, but the thought of someone I love... murdering me?" She asked, during the final rings. 5...4...3...2...1... "Boom!"
WIN! I just send a letter to Warren Graff, the maker of Happy tree friends! :D:
"Okay, I have finally came up with a couple of questions...
1. Since Flippy was cured at the end of Double whammy, does that mean after he died, he stayed that way? Or will he come back, killing people like usual?
2. Is Truffles ever gonna be in an episode? (cause I saw him hiding behind a tree in "See you later, elevator"... I'm magical :3)
3. Have you ever considered making a love bite where Flippy and Flaky try to be together, but ends in a horrible disaster? (Flippy flips out, or Flaky's paranoia?)
4. Are you guys working on ALL of the Sonic games, or did you only help make "Sonic colors"?
Thanks! :D"
Sketches of Reality ch 6 (final)
Chapter 6: Pure torture
"Ohh..." She moaned in her head, regaining consciousness. "What the...?" There was a gag over her mouth, and she had been tied up with nylon rope. It was raining hard outside. Wiggling, she tried to break free, but failed. Peeping noises came into earshot. "No, anything but that!" Flaky thought, struggling to get up. She hopped to the door, hanging wide open, when something touched her chest. The strange force dragged her back, no matter how much she screamed and cried, it wouldn't stop. Someone cut the gag loose. "Okay, I wanna know what's going on." Evil told her, his voice low. Flaky ignored the knots in her throat and said "Why should I tell you anything?" "Maybe, if you're a good little girl, I'll spare your life." He replied. She rolled her eyes. Like she would ever believe anything he said! "You're wasting your time trying to get information out of me." She growled. "Oh, then what's this?" Evil held up the sketchbook. "W-where did you get that?!" "I did a little snooping while you were asleep, darling." He stuck his nose in the book. "Why, one of your drawings are of Flippy and Giggles, together as a couple? As if!" He turned the page, pretending to be interested. "Aw, isn't that adorable? Everybody's happy, you're Flippy's girlfriend, what could possibly go wrong?" He stuck the angry chick sketch in her face. "That's what!" Evil took the first page and pulled. "What are you doing?! That could ruin everything!" Flaky warned, but he payed no attention and ripped the picture out, anyways. The porcupine's eyes scanned the room looking for something to fight with... Flippy's bowie knife laid right in front of her. "That must of been what Evil used to cut the gag!" She thought, grabbing onto it with her toes. Evil yanked out another page, and then another... When he touched the last paper, Flaky let out a battle cry and with her foot, she stabbed Evil in the crotch. "I'M GONNA SLAUGHTER YOU, FLAKY!" He screeched, trying to pull the knife out. At full speed, she hopped over, knelt down and grabbed the sketchbook with her mouth, then went for the escape. Only problem, though, her path was blocked by numerous blood-thirsty baby chickens. "Ahhh!" She toppled over, te chicks gathering around her. The angrily pecked at her face, nimbled on her fingers and began tearing out her organs. "I'm not going to make it." She knew, when the birds chewed off the rope around her. "Hey, I'm free!" Flaky shouted, pulling away from the army of chicks and dashing towards the exit. "No!" Evil snuck up from behind and slashed her in the breasts. "Ouch!" She shrieked, crossing her arms over her wound. "It hurts!" Flaky whimpered. "It will all be over in a few seconds." Evil chuckled, leading the group of chicks over to her. "The sketchbook!" She had dropped it while she was being pecked. She had to retrieve it before it was too late! Flaky fought through, and when she faced Evil, she smacked him so hard in the jaw, one of her finger bones snapped off. She looked around. No pencils in sight. Quickly, she opened the book up and used the blood from her worn-down fingers to draw a picture of herself, a flower and the sun shining down on her. "Get her!" Evil commanded. The chicks caught up with Flaky and started tearing her limb from limb. They ripped her eyeballs right out of their sockets. And soon enough, only her arm was left. Shakily, it closed the sketchbook up.
~~~
"Wah!" She woke up on a couch, sweat soaking her fur. Flippy poked his head through the basement doorway. "I see you're awake," He told her, grinning. "All of that was... just a dream?" She asked. "I don't know what you're talking about, but look!" He held up a familiar old sketchbook. "I got it this morning! Lucky, huh?" Flippy replied. "Yeah, lucky..."
Fin...?

She knew, when the birds chewed off the rope around her. "Hey, I'm free!" Flaky shouted, pulling away from the army of chicks and dashing towards the exit. "No!" Evil snuck up from behind and slashed her in the breasts. "Ouch!" She shrieked, crossing her arms over her wound. "It hurts!" Flaky whimpered. "It will all be over in a few seconds." Evil chuckled, leading the group of chicks over to her. "The sketchbook!" She had dropped it while she was being pecked. She had to retrieve it before it was too late! Flaky fought through, and when she faced Evil, she smacked him so hard in the jaw, one of her finger bones snapped off. She looked around. No pencils in sight. Quickly, she opened the book up and used the blood from her worn-down fingers to draw a picture of herself, a flower and the sun shining down on her. "Get her!" Evil commanded. The chicks caught up with Flaky and started tearing her limb from limb. They ripped her eyeballs right out of their sockets. And soon enough, only her arm was left. Shakily, it closed the sketchbook up.
~~~
"Wah!" She woke up on a couch, sweat soaking her fur. Flippy poked his head through the basement doorway. "I see you're awake," He told her, grinning. "All of that was... just a dream?" She asked. "I don't know what you're talking about, but look!" He held up a familiar old sketchbook. "I got it this morning! Lucky, huh?" Flippy replied. "Yeah, lucky..."
Chapter 5: Growing weak
He called her up while she was driving home. "So... how did it go? Does Giggles want to get back together with me?" Cuddles said, hopeful. "They... they kicked me out of their house." She told him. "Oh, well... you tried." He took a deep breath and sighed. "Thanks for coming over earlier. I guess you can't ever become so attached to someone...or else, they'll just leave you behind in the dust." Flaky's eyes burned with tears. "I know that feeling..."
~~~
She pressed down on the breaks, then gaped at her damaged house. Windows were shattered, shards of glass pointing upwards. Her garage door had been vandalized with spray-painted curse words all over it. The plants that she had been working so hard to grow had been cut down or stomped all over. She scowled. "They did this..."
~~~
Flaky swept up the bits of glass, washed off her garage door with a sponge (Not Spongebob :|) and a bucket of water, and planted some new seeds in the fresh soil. She cleaned her paws in the sink. She walked into her bedroom, locking the door. Flaky threw herself onto the squeaky bed and sobbed quietly. There was a loud ringing in her ears. "I'm sorry... I'm so, so sorry!" She bawled. She needed to let her depression out somehow... Flaky took out a knife, and began stabbing her hand over and over again. "Why... why was I cursed with this evil sketchbook?!" She shouted up at the ceiling. "Please, just let this day be over!"
~~~
She felt something tickle in her sleep. "H ha, stop that." She giggles, opening her eyes to see Flippy next to her, wrapping some kind of gauze around her bloody wrist. "Flippy? What the heck are you doing?!" She asked, sitting up in bed. "I'm sorry about what happened yesterday... I really don't know what came over me! Can we... go out again? Please???" He begged. "Oh... alright." Flaky mumbled in response. "Here's some water, sweetie. It'll make you feel a whole lot better." "Okay." She held the glass in her hand and put it to her mouth, but then pushed it away when she noticed the dark skies out the window. She heard faint screaming. "Why is the sky like that?" Flaky asked him. He turned away. "I suppose it will rain today..." He answered. Suddenly, she remembered another question. "How did you get in here?" "Your door was unlocked, dear. Now you should really drink that water... to b-build up your energy." He stammered. "If you're positive..." Flaky chugged down the liquid. That's when the world around her started spinning. "What's going on?!" She squealed, tossing and turning, and feeling quite dizzy. "You... you tricked me! You put some kind of drug in my drink!" She accused him. "Maybe so, but hey babe, it's not like I shoved it down your throat. Besides, when you wake up, you'll be in a MUCH better place." And with that, Flaky passed out.

Chapter 4: A terrible mistake
The phone rand several times before Flaky decided to pick it up. The person on the other line was sniffling. "Who is this?" She asked. "S-sorry to disturb you and all, Flaky... c-could you come over to my house and help me get rid of a few things?" It was Cuddles. By the way he talked, she knew that he was upset. "What are you getting rid of?" He started to sob harder. "All of my pictures of... G-giggles." He answered shakily. "What?! Why?" Flaky said. "She broke up with me last night..."
~~~
She clenched her fists as she entered the home. "That... that little-" She stopped herself, just in case it would make Cuddles cry even more. He gave her a trash bag. "Take down all the things that remind me of... her, please." He choked. Flaky shrugged and tore down a Giggles poster and crumpled it up in her hand... She wished that it was the real Giggles' face. "She... dumped you for Flippy, right?" Flaky sighed, dragging the trash bag over to the other side of the room. "Shouldn't you know? Didn't Flippy brake up with you, too?" She paused to think for a moment. There was a new text message on her cellphone, but she had forgotten about it after Cuddles called. "He might have... I didn't check my messages before I left." She told him. Cuddles buried his face in a pillow. "I'll never love again." He said, his words muffled by the pillow. "I'm sad about loosing the one I love too, but that doesn't mean that I should give up!" For the first time ever, Flaky spoke with courage in her voice. "I'm gonna march over there and give those two a piece of my mind!" She shouted, handing the bag back to Cuddles and stomping back to her van. "Good luck, Flaky." He called, picking up another tissue and dabbing his heart-shaped nose with it.
~~~
She barred her teeth. "You can do this, Flaky. Show those back stabbers that you're not afraid." She peeked through a window. Suddenly, she heard laughter. "How nice... the devil came into town and stole Flippy away from me." Flaky thought, quickly twisting the doorknob. And there, was the most horrible sight that she'd ever seen before... Flippy and Giggles, in each other's arms, making out to an extreme level. Her heart ached. "No... this can't be true! It's all a lie!" But it was right there before her eyes. Her left eye twitched. Her lip trembled. She felt... betrayed. Giggles was the first to notice her and pulled away from Flippy. "Who invited the retarded little porcupine here to play, huh?" She sneered, with a nasty look in her eyes. "I didn't. I sent her a text message saying that we were through, but I guess that she's so stupid, she doesn't understand." Flippy taunted. Flaky couldn't believe what she was hearing... those were two of her best friends talking! They would never treat her like that! But then again... this was her nightmare... "I'm not dumb!" She yelled, taking a step forward. "Why the heck did you even go out with her?" Giggles asked Flippy. "She's just a pathetic, worthless, re-" She was cut off when Flaky pounced on her. "GET THIS FREAK OFF OF ME!" Giggles squealed. Flaky tugged on her bow, sunk her nails into Giggles' face and shouted "I hate you!" A pair of paws yanked on Flaky's waist. "Get off of her!" Flipy screamed, pulling the porcupine away and shoving her outside. "...And stay out!" The door slammed. She could hear it being bolted. Flaky couldn't control her sadness, which at that moment, was spiraling out of control.

Chapter 3: Get out alive
*the next day*
"I... I don't know about this, Flippy." Flaky told him, tightening the purple-striped scarf around her neck. "Don't you remember the last time I tried to go skiing?" "Yeah, but back then, I wasn't with you. Now I am." He reassured her, pulling on some gloves. "A-are you sure this is... safe?" She asked. "You'll be fine, I promise." He squeezed her paw."Are you ready?" "I guess so, but- WAAAAH!" They started snowboarding down the steep hill, wind blowing in their faces. Flaky started screaming, and waved her arm in the air repeatedly. "It's okay!" Flippy exclaimed, but could barely be heard over the roar of breeze. "I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die! I'm gonna die! I'M GONNA DIE!" "Flaky, watch out!" He warned her. "Gahhh!" She shut her eyes, prepared to feel the pointy bristles of the tree before her, but it never came. Flaky opened one eye. "I didn't die???" She thought, trying to move from left to right to dodge the sharp rocks that laid ahead. "Now you got it!" Flippy cheered, already close to the bottom of the hill. "I'm actually doing it!" She beamed with pride. Flaky overcame one of her fears, with the help of Flippy, of course.
~~~
On the way home in the taxi, Flaky shivered. Flippy centered his attention on her. "Still cold from the snow?" He guessed. She nodded slowly in response. "Here, this will help." He stripped off one of his jackets and wrapped it around her body. "Thanks... that feels a lot better." Flaky informed him. They snuggled up close together. "You're welcome."
~~~
"Did you two hear about the house that burned down?" Pop asked, not noticing that Cub had wondered off to who knows where. Flippy and Flaky exchanged concerned expressions. "Oh no! Was anyone hurt?" Flaky said. "Well, everyone made it out alive. All except for poor Lumpy..." Pop answered. The couple couldn't help but smirk. From the corner of his eye, Flippy spotted Cub. A random shard of rock flew down from the sky and crushed the baby bear. He gasped. "Hey, what happened to Cub?" Flaky asked, rushing over to him. "Huh?!" Pop lifted the rock off of his son, who was perfectly fine and drooling. Not a scratch to be seen. "B-but... that's impossible! He was hit with that rock... how can Cub still be alive after something that brutal?" Flippy replied. "I heard stuff like this has been happening all day long. When people get into some kind of accident, they aren't killed!" Pop told him. Flaky's eyes grew wide. She finally understood...
~~~
"Oh man, this is bad!" She threw the sketchbook down and snatched an eraser from the bottom drawer of her desk. "What ever I draw in here, happens in real life the next day!" She said to herself, turning to the page with Flippy and Giggles on it. The eraser pressed down hard on the paper as Flaky moved it back and forth. Even though it was in pencil, the drawing wouldn't go away. "No! Why... won't...it...go...away?!" When the eraser was down to the end, she angrily tossed the book to the other side of the bedroom. "Crap... what have I done?" She squeaked.
Chapter 2: Love dazed
The pencil followed the movements of Flaky's hand. She bit her lip, wanting the result of the picture to come up great. Going over it one more time, Flaky seemed pretty satisfied. The drawing was of her, walking hand-in-hand with Flippy, hearts fluttering all around the pair. All of her friends were grouped around them, smiling. She flipped the page. The next sketch was of everyone in a group photo, nobody dying (except for Lumpy, who was caught on fire in the background). Starting fresh on another crisp paper, she thought for a moment. The directions suggested worst fears or nightmares... right? A sharp pain entered Flaky's chest, as she drew a picture of Giggles and Flippy, happily in love, while she and Cuddles are left alone, depressed. "Fears... my scariest fears..." She thought, moving on to the next picture. This one was terrible... it was of Evil hanging Flaky upside-down, while a mob of angry chicks tore her apart limb from limb. But it's just a simple drawing that can't do any harm, right? That's what Flaky thought... She decided not to draw on the last page (a lot of pages were already torn out), so she could save if for something special.
~~~
Daylight crept through her shades. She sat up and yawned. Then, a knocking sound came from the front of the house. She shuddered, letting all of the horrible outcomes of letting the stranger in flood her mind. Crawling on the stained rug all the way into the kitchen, she pulled out the first thing she touched in her drawer. A spoon? She shrugged. "It's good enough for me..."
~~~
Flaky cautiously looked through the peep hole in her door. It was... him. From what she could see, Flippy wasn't carrying any weapons or knives... She opened up for him, but still kept the silverware behind her back, just in case he tried to pull something. But, he didn't. "Hey, sweetie." He said in a soft tone. "Did he just call me 'sweetie'?" She wondered. "Hi..." "I brought you some coffee," He handed her a plastic cup. "Gee, thanks Flippy." She told him, even though she had never had a cup of coffee in her life. "May I come inside?" Flippy asked. Flaky stepped to the side. "Go right ahead." "Thank-you." He pecked her on the lips. Her pupils thinned. She opened her mouth to say "What was that for?", but didn't because she was too embarrassed for words.
~~~
She silently sipped the warm coffee, feeling it tingle in her throat. Flippy sat across from Flaky, looking at her lovingly. She felt her heart skip a beat. "He seems so... mindless." She thought. "Why is he acting like this? It's not a bad thing, but... it's pretty uncomfortable for me." "You look beautiful today." He complimented. Beautiful? She had just gotten up. Her quills were all mangled up. And he thought she looked BEAUTIFUL? "Uh... you too?" Flaky stammered. Taking her last sip of coffee, she felt incredibly jittery. "Hey, doyouwannagethighwithme? WecanhavesexunderanumbrellaHA! Doesn'tthatsoundlikefun?" She paused to point out the window. "Heylookatalloftheprettycolors! Thatsquirrelisanorangebittingamonkey!" Flippy laughed in response. "Next time, remind me to get you decaf."
~~~
After Flaky had returned to normal, she and Flippy went out to the park together. They ran into Nutty, who was hysterically laughing, like usual. "Ha ha hi Flaky! You ha want a piece of candy ha ha?" He asked, holding out a Tootsie Roll in him palm. Flippy shot Nutty a look that made it seem like her wanted to slice him up, then stuff his remains into a pinata, but he did nothing. "Um... no thanks. I'm saving up my appetite for lunch." She responded. "Ha ha suit yourself." He popped the candy into his mouth and chewed, going away. Flaky could hear a low growling sound coming fro Flippy, but again, he didn't speak.
~~~
They waited in line to buy food from the hot dog stand. Toothy stood behind them, and started to giggle. "Flaky's got a boyfriend!" He sang. Flaky hung her head, blushing. Flippy noticed this, then turned to Toothy with glowing yellow eyes. He grabbed Toothy's arm and twisted it backwards. "Eeek!" Toothy yelped out of pain. "Apologize, NOW." Flippy hissed. "For what? What did I do???" "I said, NOW!" He bent it even further. "Alright! I'm sorry for teasing you, Flaky!" Toothy squawked. Flippy let go, then Toothy scurried off to safety. "Wow..." Flaky thought.
~~~
Flippy, Flaky, Giggles and Cuddles sat on a long wooden bench, eating their hot dogs. "It's about time that you two got together." Cuddles said. "We always knew that you guys would make a perfect couple," Giggles added. "Yup, we are perfect for each other, aren't we?" Flippy scooted closer to Flaky, putting his arm around her. "Yes... yes we are." Flaky told him.
Sketches of Reality ch 1
Chapter 1:
When it all began...
She couldn't hear anything over the sound of her own panting. It all felt like a horror movie bursting into real life. It was frightening; not knowing what t expect, not aware of the creatures that were lurking about. Being tied up, gagged, close to be slaughtered... it was such an awful experience! Her life had gone downhill ever since that deadly package had arrived in the mail...
~~~
The alarm buzzed in her ears. She groaned, blindly searching for the off button. "Another day," she thought, "another attempt to avoid dying."

She hummed some tunes in the shower, too shy to actually sing the words to the song aloud. She slathered a squirt of creamy shampoo into her quills, and tilted her head back for some more water.
~~~
Dressed in a white silk shirt, she headed out the door. The sun blazed down on her, which brought discomfort. "I bet someone's gonna get caught on fire," she predicted, her feet burning with every step down the driveway. Whistling echoed down the street. A familiar tall moose in a mail man uniform strode up to Flaky. She sighed. "Hi, Lumpy." She greeted him, with a dull tone lingering in her voice. "Hiya, I gots a package for ya!" He pulled out a small cardboard box out of his sack, handing it to the timid girl. She eyed it very carefully. Nobody ever sends her packages. Even so, her birthday had been last August. She stared at the white label at the top corner. The "From" column was scratched out with marker. "Th-thank you." Flaky croaked, then raced back into her house.
~~~
Shakily, she used a silver knife to rip the box open. She peered in, curious of the contents inside. An object-a book?-was wrapped up in light peach tissue paper. Unfolding, it revealed to be a diary of some sort. She ran her paw down the dusty cover. How old was this? And why was it send, of all people, to Flaky? She opened it up. What caught her eye was the writing in ink inside of the front cover; "Let your imagination roam free! By using the arts, you can express your greatest desires, fears, and emotions in this sketchbook. But be warned, all is not as it appears." The message didn't necessarily get through her head right away, but she still got the part where it said that she could draw inside of the book. "I'm not the 'artist' type..." she decided, storing the sketchbook under one of her soft feather pillows.
~~~
The tiny plastic ball went back and forth for minutes. The paddles slapped it at sonic speed. With one more flick of the wrist, Flaky whacked the ping-pong ball, so that it whizzed past Cuddles. He grinned at her. "You play a good game." He said. Turning to Flippy, who had been watching the game the whole time, Cuddles asked "You wanna play a game against Flaky?" He shrugged. "Nah... I'd probably loose, considering how great she is at it." The war veteran winked at her. Flaky's cheeks got a shade darker than usual. "Really? I mean, you fought in the W.A.R. and all..." Her voice trailed off. "Doesn't mean that I don't suck at sports." He answered. "Cuddles, Giggles is her!" Petunia hollered from the kitchen. He quickly looked at Flippy and Flaky. "Do I look okay?" He asked, stroking the yellow puff of fur at the top of his head. "Ah, just go make out with your girlfriend already." Flippy teased, with Flaky giggling nervously behind him on the couch. For a brief second, Cuddles stuck out his tongue at them, then trotted up the basement stairs, leaving the two all alone. Silence filled the room. "So... wanna go upstairs with the others?" Flippy suggested. "Good idea." Flaky leaned forward to get up, but he put a hand out. She smiled, then took it. "His paw... it feels so warm!" Her mind was screaming. "And HE offered to help me up! Does that mean... he likes me? Or was he just being polite?" She wondered, as she followed next to Flippy.
~~~
"Gaaaah!" Petunia squealed, seeing them hold hands. "You guys are actually touching each other? Think of all the germs!" Pulling out a can, she sprayed them down, making sure that their hands were clean. When the cloud of disinfectant spray faded away, Flaky overheard Flippy say through gritted teeth "Thanks a lot, Petunia..."
~~~
Flaky put her paw on the lamp, just about to turn it off, when she remembered the sketchbook. She took it out from under her pillow. "Greatest desire, huh?" Flaky muttered to herself, grabbing a pencil from the bed stand.
When it all began...
She couldn't hear anything over the sound of her own panting. It all felt like a horror movie bursting into real life. It was frightening; not knowing what t expect, not aware of the creatures that were lurking about. Being tied up, gagged, close to be slaughtered... it was such an awful experience! Her life had gone downhill ever since that deadly package had arrived in the mail...
Opposites attract ch 13 *ending*
Chapter 13:
The final move
(Flippy's POV)
For one of the first moments in my life, I was terrified. My strawberry-red fur turned a peach shade. From the corner of my eye, a figure swooped from one side of the basement to the other. My chest began to throb, for my heart was racing so fast, I thought it would burst. Where could she possibly be hiding?
---
(Flaky's POV)
"Didn't I tell you I would come back?" That retched voice cooed. Sweat ran down my forehead. "Oh god! It's really happening!" I thought. "That's right. Now take the flashlight and rip out it's batteries." He commanded. In a flash, I snatched it, like he said, and tore out the power source. The room went pitch black. "Perfect!" Evil snickered. "But now, I can't see either." I said mentally. "Just wait for it. If I know Flippy, he'll try to make a run for it." He told me. Someone pushed the door open. I lurked behind the shadow of Flippy. I could hear him gasping for air, probably as scared as ever by now. He took down a lit torch from it's place on the wall. After stalking him for a few seconds, I could tell that he was trying to find a way to escape. "No!" Evil growled. "Don't let him leave! Attack, now!" I struggled to raise my arm up. I held my breath. My fist shot at him like a bullet. He toppled down, but still okay enough to keep his eyes open. He had such a horrified look in his eye, I screamed "Run Flippy!" Leaving the torch, he darted upstairs. "Fool! You let him get away! Go find him again, but this time, use a weapon." He told me in a hushed tone. Following his instructions, I smashed through a glass container and stole a silver ax.
---
(Flippy's POV)
So Evil was behind this, huh? I joined the dead corpse in the coffin, shut the door, hoping that my hiding place was good enough to avoid getting caught.
---
(Flaky's POV)
Onto the second floor, I heard nothing but the sound of my own breathing. "He's hiding." Evil informed her. "Go, now." My feet moved on their own. I sliced each armor display with my ax, knowing that if Flippy was hiding inside of one, we would surely get killed. In the background, there was a light "tap" sound. I looked around to see him, closing the door to the coffin, already having his gaze set for the stairs. "What are you waiting for?! Move it!" Evil yelled. Chasing after Flippy, i flung the ax at him, thinking that my aim was so bad, it wouldn't hit him and he wouldn't get hurt. I was wrong; it snapped his right leg in half like a twig. He struggled to get back up. "This might be your only chance, take it!" Evil told me. Picking up the ax again, I lunged at Flippy, who was helplessly trying to move. Just about to strike, something grabbed my ankle. "Sorry, Flaky." Flippy apologized, as he tackled me to the ground. I gripped my weapon loosely in my hands as we both tumbled down the steps, then landed on the creaky wooden floorboards. He hung onto the wall for support. I got up much more easily. I watched Flippy limp on one leg, back into the basement. "That idiot is only going to get himself cornered!" Evil snarled. I settled the ax into position, then followed Flippy.
---
(Flippy's POV)
"Think, Flippy, think!" I was injured more than Flaky was, trapped with her (who at this point, was trying to kill me)... the options seemed limited. I knew that she was right behind me, so I had to move quickly. About two feet away from the generator, I reached my arms out, only to have them both chopped off in a slash. I winced. I have only one leg left... great. I stared in horror as she lifted the ax up on last time. I had nothing else to do. No where to go. I jumped at Flaky and sunk my mouth into her arm. After my teeth went through her sleeve, the taste of blood flooded my mouth. She yelped, waving her arm back and forth, trying to shake me off. The ax slipped out of her hand and made a gigantic dent in the generator. Beams of light struck my face, and soon enough, I was out-cold.
---
I coughed whenever I inhaled the smoky air that lingered around the basement. I touched the back of my head. No quills! A warm feeling spread in my chest. I had missed my old body. I glanced at Flaky, who was awake, and still missing a few parts. I stumbled over to her. A smile made it's way onto her face. "So I'm me, and you're... you." She clarified. "Yup. Now, let's get you to a doctor, 'cause I'm pretty sure one would be useful right now." And that was that.
---
(Normal POV)
"...So that's the story I get, when I ask how you two became a couple?" Cuddles asked, smearing butter onto his roll. "Yeah, pretty much." Giggles rolled her eyes. "Like that actually happened!" She sneered. "Believe it or not, it was all true." Flippy said, winking at Flaky. She giggled. "I liiiiked the paart with Diiiisco beeear." Lammy commented, making the group glare at DB. He kept his face down during the entire story. "Aw, come on, DB! There's nothing to be ashamed of on Thanksgiving... unless, of course, you got kicked by a girl." Petunia chuckled. He looked up to scowl at her. Giggles turned to Flippy. "You really don't know what a period is?" He shook his head "no". She whispered in his ear, giving him the definition. Flippy scooted his plate away. "Alright, you people have ruined my appetite." Petunia sighed, then said to Flaky "You guys are so lucky to end up with each other! I wish that me and Handy would-"Her cell phone vibrated. She took the call. "Hello?" Petunia asked. The speaker chatted for a little bit, then hung up. She raised her head to the heavens, shouting "Thank-you!!!!" Flaky smirked. "Let me guess... Handy?" "Yes! He just asked me out on a date!" Petunia exclaimed. "How could he call you on the phone if he doesn't have....uh, never mind." Flaky looked at Flippy from across the table. "Could you pass the gravy, please?" "Sure!" The couple blushed when their paws touched. Everybody sang "Awwwwww!" DB stood up with a disgusted expression on his face. "That's it..." He said. "This is gross." When he left, Flippy rose his glass. "Cheers!" He said. "Cheers!" They all drank together, knowing that their friendship would last them eternity.
