Cry
Sonic widened his eyes in shock and fear. He quickly went over the phone and called his best friend.
"Hello?" Tails picked up.
"Tails, I have a big problem."
"What is it?"
"Um Amy...She has a Tempature of 109!"
"OH MY GOD! YOU HAVE TO TAKE HER TO THE HOSPITAL! QUICK!"
"Okay, I just want you and everybody else there!"
"Okay, now go!" Tails hung up. Sonic hung up the phone and went over the couch. When he picked Amy up, he heard a little groan coming out from her mouth.
"Amy, I am going to take you to the hospital, cause you have a very high fever." Amy understood and nodded. Sonic opened the door, and also tried to be careful while he was running. He could hear a plane flying above him. He looked up, and smiled. It was the Tornado 2, built by Tails! It was coming down, then it went beside him.
"Hop in, Sonic!" Tails yelled to Sonic. Sonic got in and set Amy down on the seat.
"Mommy..." He heard a sad voice coming from behind. He turned around and saw the three toddlers. Sonic picked all three of them up, and set them down on his lap and conforted them. Soon they reached the hospital.
"Where is the others? Rouge, Knuckles, Cream, and the rest of the children?" Sonic asked.
"Oh...They're driving my other Tornado, my very first one, and Knuckles is driving it..." Sonic chuckled a bit.
"Now let's go, we need to get Amy in there!" Tails said, getting out of the plane. They all got out of the plan with Sonic holding Amy carefully. They got in, and Tails went up to one of the nurses and said,
"Excuse me, Nurse," The nurse turned around. She had a kind face with blue eyes and blond hair.
"Yes sweetie?" She said in the most sweetest voice.
"Um, we have a friend, that has a fever of a 109, and...Well, what do we do?" Tails asked shyly.
"Oh! Don't worry, I have a nurse that is very talented, and she is kind of like one of you guys!"
"Okay, thanks Miss."
"Please, Call me Maria!" She smiled. A smile that could make peace in the world.
"Maria...okay." Tails smiled back. Maria rushed into one of the rooms where the perfessionals doctors are at.
"Maria...Why does that sound familiar?" Sonic asked. Tails looked at him with surprise and happiness.
"I think that's Shadow's friend!" Sonic laughed.
Meanwhile...
"Ahh!!" A red echidna screamed as he drove the plane.
"Man! Knuckles, don't you know how to drive a plane?" A **** bat yelled.
"No! This would be the first time I've ever drove one!" Knuckles yelled back.
"Man...I hope Amy's okay..." Lynn said. Nikki looked at her with sad eyes and hugged her. Lynn hugged back. Rouge looked at them and frowned. Then she looked at Cream with her future son and daughter. Crying.
"This is a sad sight...Stop it, guys! You can do it!"
"But we don't know if Amy's alive!" Eric said.
"COME ON KNUCKLES! YOU CAN DO BETTER THAN THAT!!!!" Shady yelled, with Shadow right by him.
"YEAH!" Shadow yelled also to him.
"I'M TRYING HERE GUYS, SO JUST STOP YELLING AT ME!" Knuckles yelled at them. Everthing was quiet when he yelled at them.
"Look, I'm sorry, okay? I kow all of you are worrying about Amy, but this is my first try of flying a plane! So just hang in there, everyone." Knuckles told in a softer voice now. After a few minutes, they could see the plane. Shady started to say,
"Hehe, betcha you can't la-"
Everyone covered his mouth so Knuckles wouldn't get mad again. He surprisingly landed safetly by the Tornado 2. The children and Cream ran inside the hospital, just seeing Tails run to them.
"Hey!"
"Hi Tails, is everthing okay? Is Amy okay?" Cream asked.
"Everything is just going okay now." Everyone was relieved. Shadow was looking for a dark spot to lean back on, but everything was to bright and white.
"Why is everything in this hospital white?" Shadow asked.
"I was asking the same thing!" Sonic yelled back to him. Tails laughed. Then he remembered about the girl.
"Oh Shadow! I wanted to ask you something."
"What?" Shadow said harshly.
"What was your friend's name again?"
"Maria," Tails smiled. "Why?" Shadow asked.
"Oh nothing really, I just forgot." Tails smiled and turned around, but Shadow quickly grabbed him by the shoulders and shook him frantically.
"Why?! Tell me why!"
"Nothing! I just met a girl named Maria and she looked exactly like her!" Tails yelled. Shadow let him go and did nothing for a while. Sonic laughed silently, and looked at Amy. Amy was breathing very fast, like labored breathing. Sonic stroked her quills softly.
"Sonic..." Amy whispered.
"Yeah Amy?"
"If I...don't make it, please...don't ever forget about me," Sonic smiled warmly.
"I won't, Ames." Amy smiled. Her eyes were half-open. Just then, Maria came and said,
"He'll come by, the nurse isn't here, she just found out about her, she'll come out-"
"Hello!" A peach colored echidna came by wearing a white top and red and green skirt.
"Soon..." Maria finished.
"Shadow...Have you met...Maria?" Tails said to Shadow. Shadow didn't do anything, he just stared at the girl. Then he said,
"I think so." Tails laughed.
"Oh Shadow! I don't think you've met Tikal?"
"I've seen her...and the children." Shadow said as he glared at Eric and Shady.
"Don't look at me, I'm not the one who made the portal!" Eric said. Shady nodded in agreement. Shadow sweatdropped and shook his head. Just then, a man with short black hair with glasses and a long white coat with beige pants and black shoes.
"Hello, my name is Doctor Stefanec, and I'm looking for someone who has a high fever of 109." He said in a calm voice.
"That's her." Tails pointed to Amy.
"Ah, okay, well, follow me." Dr. Stefanec said as he went in the hallway with doors. They followed him. Maria quickly told Amy,
"Good luck." Amy smiled, then rested in Sonic's arms. They soon reached a room that was, well, white, and Sonic set Amy down on the bed, which was white.
"Okay, I'll need a few minutes, so if you all could leave and wait in the waiting room, okay?" Dr. Stefanec said. They all nodded and waited in the waiting room.
After a few mintues...
Everyone was now tired, waiting for Amy. Then Maria came in and said,
"The doctor said he wants one of you to comfort Amy." Sonic got up.
"I'll go," Maria nodded. He led Sonic to the room where Amy was at. She opened the door and let Sonic in.
I'll always remember
It was late afternoon
"Ah, Mr. Sonic, I knew you would come! Listen, I need you to comfort Amy while I check some things in Amy's body, there might be something happening, right now, her fever is now 112." Sonic nodded. The doctor left the room.

Sonic bent down by Amy's bed and held her hand. She looked at Sonic and smiled. She held Sonic's hand tighter.
All your feelings deep inside
(Oh no no!)
"Sonic...I don't think I can make it..." Amy whispered. Sonic face saddened.
"Please Amy...Don't leave me..." Sonic said, tears almost ready to fall down.
(Deep inside) Forever was in your eyes
It was there that I realized
Amy started to cry, and said,
"Come closer," Sonic did as she said.
That forever was in your eyes!
The moment I saw you cry
Amy leaned in and kissed Sonic softly on the lips. Sonic was surprised, but he kissed back.

The moment I saw you crying
Then he realized what was going on. He pulled away and let tears fall down on his face. Amy smiled.
"Sonic, I can't make it."
Oh no no
"Please Amy...Don't." Sonic was begging Amy to not die. Tears were freely falling down from his eyes.
I think I saw you cry...
"I'm sorry Sonic...Just remember...I'll always love you..." And after those words, her eyes closed, and a loud beeping sound came from a machine that was her heart. Everyone heard it. Her heart stopped...she died, and she'll never come back again.
