Escaping Eggman part 4 ch 8

Chapter 8:
Final good-byes (Sonic's POV)
Metal rammed into me, but I was able to stand up. I pushed him up against one of the walls. At first, Metal seemed to not know what to do next. Then, he made yet another switch back to Amy. "Would you ever hurt the girl that you love?" He said in a taunting tone of voice. Metal was right... I couldn't stand hurting Amy, even if it wasn't really her. So... I closed my eyes. I know what you're thinking... It's the stupidest thing I ever did. But, what else could I have done? Punching, kicking, scratching and even biting... it was all in there. Until I felt a sharp pain in my chest. "Oh, what-" My eyes flickered open. Oh crap... he stabbed me in the heart! "You will die... Then Amy... and then the rest of your family will all be murdered... by me." He whispered in my ear. "I don't care who or what you look like. If you ever try to harm Amy, My friends or My family ever, you'll become a peice of scrap metal!" I shouted, grabbing onto Metal's head and started trying to yank it off. SNAP! Metal's head flew off of his body. "What a reflief..." I thought. Suddenly, I began to loose energy. "Sonic, what's wrong?" I heard Tails ask, but it was no use. Nobody could help me from dying. Not even... "Amy! Please... Tails.... Take care of her for me..." I whimpered, shutting my eyes. "You can't just die, Sonic! Think about all of the people who still need you on this world!" Knuckles complained. "I'm sorry.... I'm so sorry..." I replied, drifting into the darkness. Leaving this planet, going through cold, lifeless sleep. It's over for me... the end of the line. "Why did it have to end this way? He was my hero for such a long time... now.... he's gone..." Voices clouded up in my mind. "My beloved, please come back to me! I will die without you in my life, Sonic! I love you with all of my heart! The kids, they need you too!" The voices seemed to get louder and louder enough for me to identify them. I could see 3 blurry figures... One pink, the other yellow and the last one red. "I think he's still alive!" Knuckles exclaimed. "Hurry! Tails and I will get him to a hospital, while you take the kids to Cream's house." Amy said. "Fine." Tails and her rushed off to the X-Tornado.
