Chapter 7:
Seeking the truth (Sonic's POV)
"Good job, Amy!" I said after we defeated the last robot. She grinned, wiping the sweat from her forehead. "Thanks, but I couldn't of done it without you." Amy replied. "Sonic! Sonic!" Tails and Knuckles ran up to me and Amy. "You're with a fake, Sonic!" Knuckles screamed, grabbing Amy by the wrist. "What are you talking about?!" She snapped, struggling to break free. "I think you know exactly what we're talking about, Metal!" Tails said, getting right in her face. "Yeah, we know all about your little plans!" Knuckles exclaimed. Amy bared her teeth at him, slamming her elbow into his ribs. "OW!!!" He yelled, falling over. "Ha, and all this time, I thought you two were just a couple of idiots. But, you have proven yourselves to be worthy opponents." Metal Sonic went back to his normal self. Oh man! I felt so stupid! How did I get tricked so easily? "Alright, this is where it ends!" I shouted, getting into a fighting position. "Bring it on!" Metal Sonic hissed back.
