Sonic and the Black knight ending scene

So now I understand! The whole game was Sonic telling Amy the story of when he went in King Arthur's world... the reason I'm posting the last part is cause the very ending you finally get it... and it's funny the way Amy says"That the dumbest excuse for missing our date ever!" and Sonic says "But it's the truth! Uh, hey now Amy... put down that hammer! AHHHHHH!" It also makes sense because in the very beginning Sonic had two chili dogs, most likely he had got one for Amy and was walking to go see her on their date, but then he went beck in time and that's why she thought that he just forgot about their date. Plus, the talking sword scares me XD(and no, I am not kidding. You would freak out to if an apple started speaking Spanish!)
