Numbuh 5, Abby Lincoln, was flipping through the pages of a teen girl magazine, sighing when ever she saw an advertisement for the 'Boy friend helmet'. Numbuh 2, Hoagie Pennywhistle Gillagin Jr., was creating some brand new 2 x 4 technology. Numbuh 4, Wallabee Beatles, was punching a fake dummy, most likely imagining that the dummy was his history teacher. Numbuh 1, Nigel Uno, had just sent Numbuh 3, Kuki Sanban, on a top secret mission (Or at least, Numbuh 3 thought so.). To get some ice cream. Numbuh 3 was skipping down the street, singing. "La la la la la la la la!!!" All of a sudden, the Delightful children's machine appeared magically before her. Kuki is a very gullible and Naive 10 year old girl, so this is how she responded: "Hiya space - ship thingy!" She waved at the machine while the DCFDTL discussed this. "Of course! We can trap Sanban so those Kids next dumb will do what ever we want so they can get their stupid operative back! Father will be most pleased!" They all said at once. "Hey Kuki." They said, very convincing. "Want to join us for a party?" The Delightful children knew she loved parties. "Yeah! Party, Party, parties!" Numbuh 3 shrieked. "What kind of party is it?" Kuki asked, but still looked excited. "Your FUNERAL!" A bag was thrown over her face, and they attempted to gag her.

"Man, she can't even get this right!" Wally complained about not getting his ice cream. "Numbuh 5 thinks that you should stop complainin." Numbuh 5 said. Suddenly, a hologram of the DCFDTL appeared right before them. " What do you want, Delightful dopes?" Nigel asked impolitely. "We have a reasonable offer for you. Surrender to us-" They started. " No way! What do you have that's so important to us?" Numbuh 2 interrupted. " See for yourself!" The Delightful Children had evil grins on their faces, The hologram showed Kuki and Amy tied up and gagged. "Your friend over here will be drowned! AH HA HA HA HA!" They laughed. "Those fiends!" Wally shouted. "Calm down, Numbuh 4. We won't let Amy and Numbuh 3 get killed." Numbuh 1 tried to cool off Numbuh 4's anger. "Well, there's no time to waste!" Said Numbuh 5.

Sonic was wondering around a giant mansion, not sure where to go. He went through doors and hallways until he found the DCFDTL walking through the front door. Sonic quickly followed them, and he noticed that they were heading for a lake.

"So where could those Delightful devils possibly be going?" Numbuh 4 asked as they aborted the S.C.A.M.P.E.R. armed with ice cream guns. "If they are planning to drown Kuki and Amy, it might be at the beach." Nigel had a disgusted tone in his voice at the word 'Beach'. Suddenly, Numbuh 2 pointed out "Hey, isn't that our old friend, Sonic the hedgehog down there?" Numbuh 1 looked out one of the windows. "Indeed it is. Okay, I think we can stop and ask him if he knows anything." Numbuh 1 instructed.
