Werehog and the rose prologue

~Prologue:
There once lived a blue hedgehog. He was a prince who had everything his heart desired, but he was terribly selfish. One winter night, an old woman came to his door seeking shelter. She offered a rose for a place to stay. The prince turned her down. The lady warned him "not to be fooled by appearances". After he refused once again, the old woman's ugliness melted away. It was revealed that she was truly a young and beautiful enchantress. When the prince begged for mercy, the girl transformed him into a shaggy werehog. The rest of the people and the castle were cursed....The prince was given a mirror that could magically show him anyone who was anywhere as his only window to the outside world. He also has an enchanted rose. When the last petal of the rose fell and the prince has found true love by then, the spell would be broken. But if not... the prince and the castle would remain cursed... forever.
