Future children, Chapter 14: The happiest day ever!

The Happiest Day Ever.

Today was the big day!!! Yep, you guessed it! Today is Sonic and Amy's wedding!! Almost every person of Knothole was going into the wedding chapel. Even...Sally came! She didn't want to, but...she felt like going to someplace other than just staying in that big, old, boring castle. So she came here.

Tails was even crying a little bit, because it was his best friend's big day. Cream, was also crying because it was her best friend's big day, also. Amy was...nervous as usual, but on the other hand, she was happy. She was finally going to get married to Sonic, who was also nervous a little. Sonic and Amy has known each other for a very long time. And this time, they'll be together once and for all.

Amy was in the dressing room, all dressed up in her wedding dress and white veil, with a small white headband with white plastic flowers on them. Cassie, her sister, was putting make-up on her. She just finished with the eyeliner, which was waterproof, so if Amy cries, it won't mess it up. Now she was putting on lip gloss, but just a little bit, so it wouldn't be too messy when Sonic and Amy kiss.

They only had 10 more minutes until the wedding starts. Amy was breathing slowly, and her heart was beating a mile a minute. Cream was very nervous also, because she had to walk down the long aisle throwing little pink petals on the ground. Tikal, Rouge, and the others were nervous also.

"Okay...who goes first?" Cream asked, her teeth shivering with fright.

"The bridesmaids go first, and then the flower girl, and then the bride. Get it now?" Cassie replied to her question. Cream nodded.

"And when do we start going?" The little rabbit asked another one.

"When the music starts, we get into position, and about after...5 seconds when the music plays we go, and after about 10 seconds the flower girl goes, and about another 10 seconds, the bride goes," Cassie responded. Cream nodded, understanding.

---With Sonic and Tails---

Waiting for the music to play, the two friends decided to start a small conversation.

"So...what do you have planned for Amy's wedding present?" Tails asked, anxious to hear about a lot of stuff. Sonic placed a huge smile on his face. Tails noticed that, so he listened to very carefully. -This should be interesting.-

"Well..." Sonic whispered in his ear to tell him what his wedding present was for Amy. Tails gasped in shock.

"No way!! How did you-Where did you-WHAT THE HECK??!!" He almost forgot he was in a church, so he quieted down, saying sorry to the people that gave him glares. Sonic chuckled at his surprised buddy.

Tails talked a little quieter this time. "How did you find him, Sonic?"

"Well, let's just say, I had to make a lot of calls and I had a little talk with Amy's mother," Sonic replied, with his hands behind his back. Tails blinked.

"A-Amy's mother knew where he was?"

"Yes, surprisingly. But she never told Amy, because...well...she never told anyone this before, but...she thinks that Amy loves her own father more than her mother." Tails's eyes widened.

"No way! Children have to love their parents equally...right?"

"Yeah, but back when her father was around, Amy spent more time with her father than her mother. So she's worried that Amy loves her father more than her mother."

"...Wow...well, no doubt that she will be around with her father, because, notice this, Amy's father hasn't been around for years, almost 11 years actually. I'm pretty sure it's been hard on her ever since!" Tails said.

Sonic smiled. "Yeah, but Amy's mother doesn't mind anymore. She knows that Amy will love her more than anything and her father the same way." Tails smiled. "On second thought, though, I think she loves me more than anything..." Sonic added. Tails laughed.

"Yeah, you two are...almost going to get married. And then...holy crap..." Sonic chuckled.

"Don't worry, we already did that already. No need to worry." His friend looked at him.

"...Wow...you just can't stand her, huh?" Sonic blushed furiously.

"Shut up!" Tails laughed at him.

-- --Back with Amy-- --

"Ugh, I'm so scared!!" Amy exclaimed. Cassie giggled at her sister.

"Oh, don't be, sis! This is the moment you have been waiting forever! Seriously. It's time to get real!" Cassie stated. Amy rolled her eyes.

"Oh, just calm down, I've handled enough of him already the past few weeks." Cassie widened her eyes.

"...What?"

"Never mind."

"Never mind? WHAT DO YOU MEAN NEVER MIND!? This is the moment you have been waiting for all your life, Amy!! I'm the matron of honor, though I really wish I wasn't, because I don't wanna walk down the stupid aisle with 35 people staring at me like I stripped off my clothes or something!"

Amy faked a cough. "Actually, the people are mostly gonna be staring at me...because...I'm the bride...and you're just a girl who's my sister trying to calm me down, and walk down the aisle with me, 'TILL I GET TO SONIC!" Amy yelled, but she was quiet also, because unlike Tails, she remembered that this was a church. Cassie blinked.

"I don't wanna handle this anymore." Cassie started to leave.

"Cassie, please don't leave me! I can't handle this alone!" Amy yelled to her, but she just ignored her. "Great." Amy sat down as she cried. "I'm all alone with no one to take care of me." She cried more. She could hear music playing, but it wasn't the wedding kind of music, it was just for people who wanted to be entertained. Somewhere over the rainbow by Eva Cassidy was playing. Amy loved this song, it made her cry a little bit too, because her dad used to sing this to her at night even though it was sung by a girl, she didn't mind.

"Now what are you doing crying at a time like this?" a voice said. Amy's brain stopped. She couldn't think of anything but that voice. She knew it. She knew it. She knew that voice. So familiar, so memorable.

"D-daddy?" She muttered, looking up to see an indigo colored hedgehog with eyes like hers. With a cowboy hat and that dashing smile that reminded her of Sonic.

"Darn right, I'm daddy!" Her dad said. Her dad's name was Michael. He was always such a kind person. Amy looked at him with big, watery eyes.

"I-I can't believe it..." Michael smiled softly at her, went up to her, and hugged her like there was no tomorrow. Amy eagerly hugged him back tightly, tears happily flowing out of her eyes. In a tiny, little corner, someone was watching them. It was Cassie. She smiled. -Mission accomplished.-

She went to a spot where she could see Sonic. The blue hedgehog saw her and smiled. Cassie gave him a thumbs up, telling him that everything's okay now. Sonic made the hugest smile he could make.

"Daddy...I can't believe it...where were you all these years?"

"Let's just say...I was in New York for a couple of years." Amy smiled.

"Oh you. You always wanted to go there." Michael smiled and nodded.

"Well, well, well...Time's almost up. You better get ready for your big day, Ames," Cassie said while coming back from the tiny corner. Amy smiled and cried again. Happily this time.

"Where were you!?" Amy asked.

"I was waiting for the mission to be completed!"

"Mission?"

"Yes, mission."

"Uh, any more you can add to that?"

Cassie laughed. "Well, let's just say...it was given to you as a wedding present from Sonic." Cassie winked at her.

"S-Sonic? He...?"

"Yes, he found your dad in New York and told him about...pretty much everything. So we planned a little mission to get your dad to see you again! And don't worry, he will be staying here for a long time." Amy smiled.

"This is the best day ever!"

"Oh it's not over yet, you STILL have to get married, and then party, and then honeymoon, and then children." Amy sighed.

"I still have a long way to go, huh?"

"Children is not coming until 9 months later, honey, so hold on to your pants."

"I'm not wearing pants."

"Fine, hold on to your dress! Better? Now, you don't have to walk with me now, you have to walk with your daddy...I mean...our daddy, and down the aisle, AND WE ONLY HAVE FIVE MORE MINUTES!!" They heard a loud clash.

"HOLY CRAP, GET READY!!" Rouge yelled, coming out of nowhere. "WHERE'S THE FLOWER GIRL?? WHERE IS SHE?? Oh, here she is...WHERE ARE THE BRIDESMAIDS? Oh, I'm one of them, and there they are...WH-"

"ROUGE, CALM THE HECK DOWN!" Regina yelled to her. "WE ARE IN A CHURCH, YA KNOW!" Amy giggled. She was definitely right, this IS the best day ever.

What made them all jump, even Sonic and Tails, was that the real music started to play. "Holy crap. I feel faint." Cassie said.

"You feel faint? What about me??" Amy whispered. Cassie smiled. She loved to make fun with her sister. Especially on her wedding day.

"Okay, bridesmaids, you go first." Michael said. The bridesmaids, Tikal, Rouge, Angel, and Regina got into position. They started to walk down the aisle, 35 people watching them. Mostly boys were drooling at them, mostly girls were jealous of them, mostly adults were taking pictures of them. The bridesmaids acted normal as possible.

"Amy, good luck!" Cream whispered as she got ready to walk down the aisle.

"Thanks, you too!" Amy replied quietly. Cream smiled. She started walk down the aisle, smiling, and throwing little white petals on the ground. Most people "awwed" at her, because she looked cute. Most boys smiled at her. Girls were whispering to each other, "she's so adorable!" She reached to the end, and everyone stood up.

"Get ready, baby girl." Amy's father whispered to her as he wrapped his arm around hers. She smiled. They walked down the aisle...they walked...and walked, and walked...She looked absolutely beautiful. Boys stared at her for a very long time, girls were extremely jealous, including Sally. Adults were taking millions of pictures of her.

She got there. Her dad placed a kiss on her forehead before letting her go up with Sonic, standing by her. -I'm surprised she made it this far,- Sonic thought and smiled. The reverend started to speak,

(A/N: I'll try my best...I'm not real good at marriages...)

"We are here to honor the marriage between Sonic the Hedgehog and Amy Rose. If there's anyone who has a reason why these two shall not be together, let it be now, or forever hold their peace." Everyone was secretly glaring at Sally, who was scared out of her wits, so she did not raise her hand.

"Okay," The reverend spoke the marriage, like how they all have to repeat stuff and all. Then came the "I do" part.

"Do you, Sonic the Hedgehog, take Amy Rose to be your lawfully, wedded wife, to love her, honor her, and to cherish her as long as you both shall live?" Sonic smiled before saying,

"I do." Amy almost squealed at that, but she bit her lip to keep her mouth shut until she had to say something...like now.

"And do you, Amy Rose, take Sonic the hedgehog, to be your lawfully wedded husband, to love him, to honor him, and to cherish him as long as you both shall live?" Tears trickled down her cheek and smiled.

She said, "I-I do."

Poor Amy, she's so nervous. But we'll be together now... Sonic thought.

The reverend smiled and asked, "May I have the rings please?" Tails smiled and bought the pillow up to the lovely couple. Amy took one first and placed it on Sonic's finger. Sonic then took one and placed it on Amy's finger. Sonic smiled warmly at her; She was crying deeply, but she didn't care, she was happy that her and Sonic are finally going to be together.

The reverend smiled at them before saying, "I now pronounce husband and wife," Cream nearly screamed at that part, Rouge was like, "oh my god", and the sisters were so happy for them. "you may now kiss the bride." Sonic smiled and pulled Amy closer until their lips touched into a sweet, yet exciting kiss. He could feel tears on his face, but they weren't Amy's...they were Sonic's! Sonic, for the first time, was actually crying...well...not the first time, but rarely. Cameras flashed and cheering was also involved. After 10 seconds, they pulled away.

Amy told Sonic, "I love you so much, Sonic. I can't believe it." Sonic chuckled.

"I love you, too, Amy. I can't believe it either. Come on, can't let the party waiting!" Amy giggled as the happy couple walked down the aisle and into the nice, long limo.

This was certainly the happiest day of their lives, not just Amy, Amy and Sonic. The most happiest day ever.
