Chapter 5:
Disastrous Wedding Day!
(Amy's POV)
"Where have you been, Sonic?'' I asked when Sonic got back from his 'Mysterious journey.' "Uh... Just for a run!" He answered. I gave him a suspicious look, but I accepted what he said.

(6 DAYS LATER, Sonic's POV)
"Are you ready, Sonic?" Tails said through the door. "Y-yeah, Tails..." I stammered, opening the door for him. He stared at me for a moment, frowning. "Is something wrong, Sonic?" Tails asked. I sighed. He was my best friend... I could tell him anything. "I... know that something bad is gonna happen... And I'm worried." I answered. "....What's gonna happen?" Tails' eyes looked full of concern. I looked away. "Well... Silver took me into the future to show me what would happen at this wedding.... and it results in a death." I told him softly. Tails gasped. "Is it...... Amy?" I took a deep breath. "Y-yes..." Silence filled the room. "Are you going to save her?" He broke the silence with his question. "I'm gonna try... I only have one shot to make all of this right..." I assured him. Tails smiled faintly. "Good luck, Sonic." I grinned back and replied "Thanks, pal. You're always there when I need ya!" I took my first footsteps out of the room, still very nervous.

(Amy's POV)
"That dress looks really beautiful on you, Amy!"


I was in front of a mirror. I spun around. My long white dress twirled, and so did my long pink hair.


"You really think so, Cream?" I asked.


"Of course I do! I'm sure Sonic will love it!"


Blaze knocked on the door, opening it slightly.


"It's time, Amy." She said.


"Hey Pinky, you'll need this." Rouge handed me one of those scarfs (A/N: I'm calling it a scarf cause I don't know what it's really called!) that brides wore when they're about to get married... I put it on over my face.


"Thanks, Rouge." I replied.


"Hey, no prob!" She answered.


I walked out of the room, down a long narrow isle.


"This really reminds me of my wedding!" Sally whispered to Knuckles. He looked a little aggravated, but then he simply nodded.


They were all sitting in rows. My relatives were sitting on one side, my friends and familiar people sitting on the other side.


Wave sat down to a smooth black piano and started playing; Dun. Dun. Dun-Dun.



I walked down the isle carrying flowers, while Cream was skipping behind me throwing flowers from out of a basket.


Sonic came down the other isle, wearing a plain black tux. He looked a little worried...



We eventually both arrived at the stand.


The preacher took out a book.
I stared at Sonic. I noticed he wasn't smiling.He didn't even look the slightest bit happy. I mouthed the words 'What's wrong' to him. Sonic shrugged.

(Sonic's POV)
I could hear my heart pounding against my chest. I was really going through with this! I looked into the audience. Silver was hiding behind a chair. I gave him a curious glance. He gave me a 'thumbs up' sign. I turned my head again to see Tails, gesturing for me to go on.

(Amy's POV)
Why was he looking at everyone but me? And what the heck is Silver doing behind that chair????

(Sonic's POV)
My ears perked up. The preacher was getting near the end. I gulped.

"I-I do..." Sonic didn't sound positive when he said it.

(Sonic's POV)
"Amy Rose, do you swear to stay by Sonic's side, whether it's through poor or rich, Sick or healthy?" I was breathing fast. "I d-" Black filled the room.
