Danger lurks in every corner ch 6

Chapter 6:

He had the gun aimed at her head. "Good night." He aside under his breath, just about to pull the trigger, when Flaky preformed an ear-piercing screech. It was so loud, that Evil had almost dropped the gun. "Shut up!" He howled. "Flaky, what's-" Giggles sat up and stared at Flippy. "Great... there's more." He complained, now pointing his gun at her and firing several times to the head. Now Petunia had woken up and looked at him with wide eyes. Without hesitation, she sprinted out of her sleeping bag and ran for the door, but the exit was blocked by Evil. He shot her multiple times in the stomach and a couple of times to the legs. "I need to think fast..." Flaky thought, now noticing the window that was, just barely, large enough for her to get out of. Evil eyed her, realizing that she was about to escape. "Not before I kill you!" He shouted, pulling the trigger. No effect. "Crap, I'm out of bullets already???" He growled in his mind, chucking the gun across the room. Evil had to catch Flaky before she jumped out the window. She thrust it open with all of her strength and practically threw her body out. He darted after her, and grabbed Flaky's ankle. Knowing (but also regretting) what to do next, she pulled the window down, making it slice off her foot. She landed in a small shrub and got sand-spurs caught in her fur. Ignoring all of the instant pain it brought her, Flaky limped away, her hopes high about surviving.
---
It scared Flaky to not know about Flippy's whereabouts... he didn't leap out of the window to come after her. She knew that there was little time left before he caught up with Flaky and killed her.
---
Evil knew how this would play out. But his schemes involved a weapon, which didn't have any more bullets. He rushed through the kitchen and entered the garage. He yanked a string that was connected to a light bulb, causing the garage to get much brighter. Evil had just hit the jackpot... right beside Flaky's van was a work bench, displaying all kinds of useful tools.
---
Flaky pushed open the white gate door, feeling lucky that she had made it this far. Her injured leg dragged behind, leaving a trail of blood. Something rattled in the bushes just as she left her backyard. She shrieked, only to find out that it was just a brown squirrel with a bushy tail. Relief flooded her insides. All of a sudden, a paw quickly covered up her mouth. Evil had been hiding and monitoring her moves, and was now deciding to take action. She had tried to squeal, but they ended up muffled because of his hand. "Tsk, tsk, tsk..." He whispered, dragging her into the garage.
---
He turned her upside-down and slammed the porcupine into the wall. Her quills helped support her place. He got out a sharp nail and stuck it through one of her feet. She yelled and squirmed, making it more difficult for him to concentrate. Evil picked up a splinter-infested hammer and banged it five times against the nail. Blood tricked up (remember, she's upside-down) her leg. He soon grew tired of her irritating screams, and took out a saw. He grabbed her lips and stretched them out slightly. Evil moved the saw back and forth on her mouth, finally making it slip off her face and drop with a "Splat!" on the floor. Evil nailed her other foot and hands into the wall. He brought out the last tool, the chainsaw. Sweat formed on Flaky's face. The blades on the edges sparkled. "You don't know how long I've been waiting to do this..." Evil hissed, power up the chainsaw.
---
When he got home, his clothes were drenched in blood. No matter, he just changed into a brand new camouflage shirt, and lazily tossed the old one into the washing machine. Evil wore a crooked smile as he got settled into bed. Once Flippy came back the next morning, he would be aware of the fact that he had killed his own date.
